Blond.............you can also try turning off individual breakers and checking to see if the "popping" stops.......that way you will know which one is the problem.

Or, if you or Tourist can get to the back of the box, look to see if sparks/fire is visible, and or if there appears to be damage to the wiring caused by an animal chewing away the insulation........rats and mice and squirrels will do this sometimes.

it could be a shorted-out wire or bad breaker. I would refrain from using too much electricity if you can.

Yesterday, while working there was an instructor that was got her lunch and it looked really delicious, but then she put it in the microwave where it started to smell awful. I asked what it was and she said Cauliflower breadsticks. Let's just say that ended the conversation. I mean, I only like cauliflower steamed and I love breadsticks, but not combined.:confused:

We have turned a lot of the different breakers off and lucky for us tonight anyway it seems cool enough to open the slider door upstairs so we should be o.k. I pray....but have a call into an electrician to come tomorrow even if it costs more at this point I don't care as plumbing and electric scares me if either is out of control....as in burst pipe or popping electric...scary stuff hope we sleep safely tonight. With prayers I'll just have to trust we will be o.k.
