1 Corinthians, Chapter 15:

1Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

3For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

17And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

18Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

19If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

20But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

(Thinking of that wonderful Hymn: He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today...)
 
I’m thinking that my memorizing skills are a little skewed…one of my grandkids told me something extremely funny, but I can no longer remember what it was about.

I'm on my whatever number of reading the New Testament again, and am in 2 Thessalonians currently. In the first Chapter, Paul speaks of the 2nd coming of Jesus, the Rapture, if you will. This particular passage is not often spoke of when the 2nd coming/Rapture are being discussed. At least, I have not seen it often quoted.

Chapter 1:

7And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

8In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

9Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

10When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

11Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:

12That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Good morning friends,

So I missed a few days but here goes :)

The firm where I worked was sold last year September. I said to my wife it is time for us to now start our business so in February 2025 that is what I did. Have been doing it now for seven months and God has been good to me and my family. He has been providing to our needs every month and I am grateful that I took the step to do it.

I trust everybody is doing well?
