It may be. I've always been more of a soda/pop drinker for the jolt, though it doesn't give me that burst of energy like coffee does.....
but I have noticed when I don't have a pop for a day or 2 then start drinking it again that my heart randomly races. SO It very well may be a caffeine sensitivity. Best for me to just avoid it as much as possible.
(But not giving up chocolate! Chocolate is a friend........)
