/And yes, Melita looks like a beautiful royal princess in her gorgeous dress! Her mother looked so precious and dreamy-eyed gazing at her beautiful daughter as she stepped out of the dressing room in her wedding gown. It was a moment to remember always and I tear up just thinking about it. I'm so thankful I was invited to be there.
It's a designer dress and is so pretty... and Melita makes it look even more magnificent!!! She looks sooo regal in it!!

One of the difficult things about being a wee elephant is that the realization comes to mind (sooner or later) that one day, one day, I will wake up, look in the mirror, and discover that I am old, grey, and wrinkly........sigh......sadly, that day was......ABOUT THREE YEARS AGO!

I was looking at a bunch of pix of elephants yesterday and they were frightening... marauding animals, killing people, ugh, it was awful, they scared me, and really almost made me cry to think how horribly people treat animals, for I know the elephants do not do such things on a whim or simply because they are wild animals, no, they are provoked (that is why I invoked God's blessing on them yesterday ), and just now I have been looking at a completely different set of pix of elephants, again they are bringing tears to my eyes but for a completely different reason this time, photos of people hugging them and elephants hugging each other, my goodness, what wonderful animals they are, strong, beautiful, affectionate, and so ancient looking

Why does this cute little pink elephant remind me of Melita? It's the strangest thing.
They are so beautiful and majestic. It tears me up to see the abuse the poaching and butchering of them. I can't even watch those programs. Have you ever seen how they gather and mourn around one of their fallen members? It's astonishing.
