Went to Walmart this morning. Found 30 cents on the ground at the bus stop there. :) I sold a pink fan today for $10 and the guy gave me $11, he said the extra dollar is for "good measure. My upstairs neighbor is giving me $12 tomorrow for 3 of my MJ cd's. And Denise owes me $12 next month for the 3 dvd's and Patsy Cline cd that she got at my yard sale yesterday.

I'm rollin' in the dough, baby. Rollin' in the dough. ;)

Iced coffee for everyone, my treat..lol :o

Good morning everyone.

The Journal of American Medicine reports that ONE in THREE Americans have some sort of mental/emotional disorder. Now, I do know that I'm ok, and so am I, but the two of us are beginning to have doubts about you.

(......just saying.....)

There are never any "flying uncles"....:p

( I come from the part of Canada where we say "Aunt" and not "Ant".)

Well, I know for sure that I am an uncle..........and, while I may not be flying, I'm pretty sure I'm BUZZING!

:)

(gotta love meds)

Maybe I need some meds.

:)

IF you have a need for them, then yes...........BUT, I would not recommend these I'm taking for recreational purposes. The only recreating you will be doing is .....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........ :)

I used to have a little magnet on my fridge that said 1 out of 4 people are mentally unstable. think of 3 friends. if they seem ok, it's you

well, it's been fun, but I have to scream now

What is FPF?

Are there pictures of your stuff hung up at the local Post Office?

FPF is Front Porch Forum. It's like Craigslist but local to my city and several surrounding cities. People give away and sell lots of stuff on there, have discussions, post for a missing pet, etc.. I got a treadmill and computer chair FREE on there. :) And there's no whackos like there is on CL.. lol

declaw it's a small fee at the vet.

DO NOT declaw a cat !!

that is equivalent to removing the tops of all the fingers on your hands at the first knuckle. it's not just 'taking off the fingernails' -- as if that isn't enough butchering!

it is illegal in many countries, for good reason, and terribly inhumane! a declawed cat can never survive outside again - it has no more primary defense. other cats will pick on it, and it will turn into a "biter" -- and she ((or he)) will be in pain every time she walks for the rest of her life.

That's why it's banned in NZ.

i knew what i was getting into when i adopted cats :)

they are only little scratches.

i do have two cats we rescued that were both declawed -- and i can tell you, it's much worse to be bitten by a cat than to be scratched, and those two are the only ones who ever bite -- and they both bite as much or more as any normal cat would.
if you aren't willing to deal with fur, with looking like you've been picking raspberries in the woods, or accepting the fact that some furniture is going to get scratched sometimes, then you aren't ready for a cat. i think all those 'sacrifices' are nice tho -- it's really driven home that carpet & chairs are just stuff, and i'm certainly not in any worse shape from playing with the cats ((or being trampled by them while i sleep??)) then i ever was just from growing up as a boy and messing around in the forest.

Agreed. Love my animals and don't mind when they do bad things like wreck things would prefer having animals over a silent house with just tidy unwrecked stuff.
