Teddy deserves a proper burial. I didn't wanna just throw him out in the dumpster. That would be undignified for such a regal bear..lol..

When Rusty died, I was at the vet's and there was a plaque of an orange kitty on the wall. I tearfully asked them if I could have it, and they pulled it off the wall and gave it to me. I still have it. :) That will be a comfort to me also.

It's always good too Blue....especially if a child is in your life to give your pet a proper burial

I remember when I was 5 at grandma's house my goldfish died...and I took it to grandpa, and he said he would get me a new one, as he threw the fish in the woods and it ricochet off a tree right before my eyes

Well, the all day long cold rain came just as was promised.........sigh..........but, still, God is good!

:)

Decided to beat the drearies...........so I made a huge pot of veggie soup. It's simmering right now.....smells so good.

Cauliflower, Broccoli, Carrots, Taters, Sweet Onions, Fresh Maters, Cabbage, couple of Beef Flavor Cubes, some salt 'n' pepper and a good dose of Parsley............mmmmmmmm

Gonna make a pan of cornbread to go with it.........
 
I hope everyone had a great day. The best part of my day was going to the store to get some erasers and paperclips, lame right? I walked into this store and it was like walking straight into the Twilight Zone, it was awesome :)

I do present a challenge for whoever reads this tell the people that mean the most to you what you appreciate about them and why because you may not have the ability to say it tomorrow. no wonder you label yourself as a LOST SHEEP...that kind of attitude will never be a pleasing sacrifice to YOUR Lord and Savior. When you are on GOD's winning team, your entire attitude, reflection of JESUS, lifestyle and even your 'tired butt" will change for His glory. So sad you have decided to be on a losing team. God will never ask "Did you watch Superbowl number 50 that year and post it online for the world to see? No, GOD will ask "Did you do everything you could to usher in my kingdom, growing spiritually while you waited for My return?"

Why are you ALWAYS judging others on here? I'm sure God doesn't mind if somebody takes a break to watch the Superbowl or do whatever. And you're pretty nervy to dare to presume to know what God will ask us someday. We are ALL on God's team here. Instead of taking a break from your ministry to write judgmental posts here, why don't you go write a sermon for church or something useful like that? This is a happy, lighthearted thread, and you're a debbie downer. Take your judgmental attitude elsewhere on this forum, because we don't want it here.

Well you always sound like everyone here is wasting their time doing stuff other than serving Jesus. If you had your way, we would all do nothing but serve him 24/7/365, without eating or sleeping or taking potty breaks. :/ God DOES allow us to take short breaks from serving him, ya know. :) And I'm a ladybug, I don't have a bonnet..lol
