I never intended on getting another cat after Chico, but about two weeks ago little Beanpod showed up and forced himself upon me. He just sat there and camped out on my back porch and went on a hunger strike until I finally adopted him =)

It's just so amazing what a child can do to touch your heart.

I got a frantic phone call last night from one of my friends who was helping her son with his homework and had no clue what they were talking about and it doesn't help her English isn't good. So I helped her, help her son until we finally figured it out. Then he got on the phone and kept saying how much he missed me and wants to give me a huge hug.
 
I've been productive the last couple of days. :) I bought some furniture at a yard sale last Saturday/Sunday, a bookcase, night table and bedside stand. So I got rid of my coffee table and cd holder to make room in here. I've got my apartment all recombobulated the way I want it now....lol.. :) Then I swept the living room floor also yesterday, and mopped it today.. Tomorrow I have to sweep/mop the kitchen and bathroom floors and clean the bathroom because I have an apartment inspection on Thursday afternoon.. whew..
 
Hey peeps! I went evangelizing in a teen chat room today. I had a really interesting discussion about christianity with a guy.
 
Btw, my brother recently converted two people. He send them bibles by mail and stuff :p I'm always so happy when someone converts to christianity!
 
Hmmmf, google wants be to accept that they will spy on me (if you read what it says, it says they will store you IP address AND what you google, and youtube and so on (!). SO... I am using Yahoo, which is lousy in comparison as search results go.... any suggestions for something better?

Yes, use duckduckgo. They don't store your IP or track you or filter bubble you. You can even use that search engine to search using google, they'll encrypt the search and send the results back to you. To do this type in "Your search term" !google.

You could always just use TOR or another proxy service, as well, and search google directly with that. Just make sure DOM settings and canvas imaging data is off in your browser.
 
Ok,I'm having a discussion with a member about Jesus being present with god in the begining and he's quoted john1:1 this seems to me that John being an obvious supporter/BELIVER in Christ has actually changed what's written in genesis !!! Your thoughts?
 
Not sure I understand your question, but Jesus IS God, and Jesus WAS there at the beginning
 
Is this written in scripture? I've been searching but can't find any reference to the word in genesis,or mabey he was called a different name then?
 
why does it have to be in genesis?

A man once said: Jesus could only be one of three things: Crazy (Thinking He was God), Evil (Deceiving people), or, indeed God.

There is plenty of scripture that supports Jesus being God.

- He forgave sins, only God can do that, as the pharisees said.
- His disciples worshiped Him
- His name (Immanuel) means God with us


and then there are all of Johns references: He is the Word, He is Light, He created all things
 
Genesis being the first book of the OT and laying out when God created all things seems like the perfect place,the only place where we would be told about the holy trinity,from the very begining so as to avoid any confusion later on,for instance,we are told that God created Adam,the first man in the first 6days,surely somthing as important as the Holy trinity would be mentioned,it is,after all,The most important of all the scriptures,it tells us that God was the creator and created man in his own image,created a female mate from Adam and so began the human race. Without the human race,All the other creations of God would be meaningless,they would be un named,(Adam named all creatures),without the human race there would be knowone to worship God! Surely the father,son and Holy Ghost would be revealed to the first humans,Adam and eve,so they could decide( free will) what to belive and what to pass on to there children and ultimately the rest of the Human race for all eternity??
