Yeah ... it's just for a few days. Been nice being lazy (sorta) ... but my planned tasks aren't getting done by themselves. Wished Ellie lived nearby so I could hire her out to finish up the gardening and yardwork and stuff. I know how much she likes playing in the mud

I'm fine while I'm in the mess ... but make me stop for a spell ? ... it's getting restarted that's the problem ... lol

every autumn, the kids and in-laws and company come here for what they call 'pie-fest'.
i throw something plentiful in the slow cooker and they bake half a dozen pies and totally trash the kitchen.
clean it up? yeah.... eventually.

Just as well. They're not very good at it anyways. Have your girls ever burned water ? Mine are good at that
