Over the past couple years, the Lord has inspired me to write songs through my life experiences. Some of these songs came from the depths of pain and suffering. The song, "Our Unborn Treasure", was one of these. My wife and I lost our child years ago and these words came to me last year. Miscarriage is something surprisingly many people don't talk about, and there are hardly any songs about it. After I wrote the song, I played around with the style of music and eventually ended up with what I thought was perfect for it.
For those who have lost a young one, or an unborn child... I have confidence that the Lord takes them into his arms after they leave this earth. Our God is good and always does what is good, even if we cannot understand it. I hope this song can encourage your hearts as well:
