I’ll check out Roman’s 12:12. I just don’t want to feel like I’m fighting spiritual warfare right now but it seems like that is what is happening. At least for me.

You know my thoughts and prayers are with you. I certainly wish I could help. Often times we are fighting our own unique battle and sometimes it doesn't make any sense what we are going through...and that makes it all the more difficult.

It sure does. I pray that I’ll be able to win this spiritual battle that I’m currently having. It’s a good thing I have His protection. Even witches like Nikki cant get through.

remember this: the devil cannot even speak you're name without permission. he can't touch you, can't do anything.

No lol. Some times there is a lot of good moments and some times there are bad moments like today, where I get emailed by a witch and tell her to turn away.

Often times it makes a lot of sense, at least to me. But, there are times when it doesn't make any sense. We must, in all things, be patient in distress as good representatives of Him and showing our trust and faith in Him.

you are awesome enril. If I was ever surrounded by demons, all I would have to say is Jesus’ name

not even that. just walk at them and they will move.

I have been surrounded by humans who were all demon possessed. I called out to Jesus and my God parents came and rescued me.

and how do we do that without feeling so fake?

I treat my relationship with the Lord like He is my closest friend who I can tell everything to...I'm candid with him, while also remaining respectful. Working on a relationship with Him in a very real, close, and serious way should dispel feelings of fakeness.

I haven't felt a feeling of fakeness in prayers in ages. And I'm so thankful for that. I hope any who struggle with this can get to that point too. It makes living life a lot different and a lot better, even in the harshest times.

I pray I get to that point. I had a better relationship with God in that sense when I first became a Christian. I use to talk to God all the time. As I got older, I talk to him when I’m praying or if I’m going through a really challenging time.

oh yeah. I talk to him like he's standing in the room beside me. because he is.

I meant acting like it's all fine when it is not. not in prayer.

if you enjoy reading, you might tyr shadow slayer, by viki v lucas. it is a powerful story.

I appreciate your suggestion but I mostly stick with the Bibl. I don’t even watch tv or play video games. My life has been taken over by Christian material, like pray.com, worship music and sermons.

Unfortunately, we have to act like everything is fine in our daily lives (such as work, errands, functions, etc.). It seems to get easier to fake as you get older. I've been faking acting like everything is fine for decades. But, yeah it's not pleasant :cautious:
