You keep making statements like this when no one has said anything about being scared of anything.
Having knowledge, understanding, discernment, etc. - with regard to the subtle ways of Satan that influence the minds of people and affect their thinking - very rarely involves being scared of anything.
On the contrary - the right-and-proper foundation of knowledge, understanding, discernment, etc. - does the exact opposite - because, it is based on love - the love of the truth.
2 Timothy 1:
7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
1 John 4:
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
The most sound (and, least fearful) minds may be found in Christians who have a right-and-proper foundation of knowledge, understanding, discernment, etc. concerning the true nature of the world they live in - the truth of our reality.
The only "Christians" who run around being scared of everything are those who are not willing to attain to the right-and-proper foundation of knowledge, understanding, discernment, etc. concerning the true nature of the world they live in - especially with regard to the subtle ways of Satan that influence the minds of people and affect their thinking.
Anyone who understands the subtle things of the evil of this world - are better able to protect themselves and others from the 'wiles of the devil'.
Ephesians 6:
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Part of 'the whole armour of God' is the knowledge, understanding, discernment, etc. of the things indicated in verse 12.
Every part of 'the whole armour of God' is vitally important - and, a knowledge, understanding, discernment, etc. of the things indicated in verse 12 help to make a more sure ability to 'stand against the wiles of the devil' - because - if you are aware of what the devil is doing in the world, you can better guard against the traps he has set for you to fall into - and thus - you are better able to protect yourself and others from the 'wiles of the devil'.
Anyone who thinks that spiritual discernment of the very real subtle things of the evil of this world is "drivel" is [simply] lacking spiritual discernment of the very real subtle things of the evil of this world.
There is great peace in knowledge, understanding, discernment, etc. - and, turns 'fear' into a 'boldness' that has 'power' against the enemy.
