Bless and hugs to you sweetheart and cheers for replying, think i've rattled a few cages here lately so maybe should hold off for a bit. i have quite a few WD Black and Gold 6 - 10 tb drive and a pretty vast range of nice quality film encodes.
Might be a good idea to pm a couple of people like you first, if i'm tempted to go for it.
Lol.

Rattling cages is what we do! :D

I don't think there's anyone here who hasn't flipped someone's tables, so don't let that stop you. But yes, definitely take a pause if you feel you need to.

Unfortunately, I'm not a good candidate for the subject as I'm not into film and have pretty much stopped watching movies, but I'm sure others here might be interested in the topic. :)

You are so lovely, cheers again sweetheart. Very few recent films even start to float my boat, world cinema, quirky time travel films and a few other genres, definitely do. Lol, i even have a remastered, early predictive programming film: The Most Dangerous Game [1932} https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0023238/ This is definitely my favourite time travel film, very British and delightfully oddball:
Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0910554/

Well, i'll be busy over the weekend so think i can hold off on doing anything daft for now, cheers and hugs again seoulsearch you're special for sure.

There are some threads about movies floating around.
Galatea, Tinuviel and I talked endlessly about certain movies, especially as loyal Jane Austen
fans, and I think it was Gala who started a book club type of thread, but the book chosen was
a real downer haha, 1984 or some such? So that fizzled out after a short time...

Yes precious friend, a while ago we both recommended some films on a thread, can't remember which one. I'm wondering if an actual club where some of us watch and discuss films together might work?

Must sort Dreamer's teatime meal, bless her, will try to look in later, blessings and hugs for now dear friend :)

wondering if anyone thinks a sort of film club thread might work?
Some think anything out of any movie studio the work of the devil including such works as The Chosen,
which saw many turning to Christ after viewing it... but it is best to ignore those types, as what is sin for
some is not sin for all, though some shows are sure to stir up more controversy that others, and I do
still recall our Mod telling someone they would be the very first ever to be invited to leave the singles'
forum (meaning he would ban them) because of the way they persisted in coming after me regarding GoT.

I have quite a broad spectrum of interest as long as the story is engaging without being overly
gratuitously graphic... and I have been meaning to ask you if you ever got around to watching
My Demon? You said you like time travel themes, and that makes me think of a German series
called
Dark... it can be quite confusing because time lines intersect and cross...

I do hope you and your kitty are well... yes, there have been a few threads where shows or movies we have watched, or are currently watching, or our faves, are mentioned, whether Christian themed or not... I believe @Eli1 has a couple of such threads going. While at my daughter's place this past weekend we started watching The Brutalist and were about halfway through it when my daughter announced that it was a three and a half hour long movie. LOL! Well, that put an end to that. We will finish it next time. She particularly liked the theme song for Donnie Darko. Did you see that one? Back to the Future is so much fun, and Terminator was epic. I quite enjoyed 12 Monkeys, also, and we both liked Run Lola Run, and Edge of Tomorrow. Blessings and hugs to you also...

when I am broke, I will probably have 1 meal a day or 1 meal every 2-3 days.
I am never home being in school full time, vegtables go to waste in the fridge, so when I have money eating out is my groceries.

Conclusion

Life: It is a re-occuring nightmare that never ends.
Sort of like ground hog day.

I remember both of those members and others as well that have either dropped out, quit the site or have been banned. Kind of sad in a way.

Hope you don't mind this comment seoul but wondering if anybody else loved the original, delightfully cheesy MST3K? If so, you might like this Rumble channel: https://rumble.com/c/c-5063071
I loved MST3K but only during the Mike Era.

I've tried to watch some of the Joel episodes but just couldn't get into them; I tried watching some of the "new" seasons and couldn't get into it at all.

On the other hand, I've seen some clips from RiffTrax (Mike, Bill, and Kevin's channel) and thought they were hilarious, so I think I just enjoyed their writing/sense of humor the best.

Unfortunately, RiffTrax has a lot of their content locked behind paywalls (I understand -- they're trying to make a living, after all,) but you can still snag a few good tidbits for free.

Some channels also featured their Turkey Day Marathon this year but again, I only seemed to like the Mike episodes.

Girls only eat salads, or so I'm told in nearly every movie.
Not this girl!

I always said that if God wanted me to eat rabbit food, He would have made me a rabbit.

Unfortunately, salads are good for you -- bleh. So along with a whole lot of other things, I force myself to eat them out of necessity.

If I could eat anything I wanted, my first choices would usually be fettucine alfredo, pizza, cheeseburgers, fries, ice cream, and basically everything they say will kill you.

The first five series are all i like seoul but i'll be checking rifftrax out too. I also enjoyed The Cinema Snob stuff way back, their Game Boys and Cinema Snob Movie were pretty good.
Thing is, they all seem to have a great couple/few seasons but can't stop flogging a dead horse., understandable i suppose but yucky.
A Troll risking it for a biscuit on a post of mine again, he's no more welcome than he was before i took a break. Probably my being a current regular has rattled its cage again, don't like spending time on fools like that but refuse to let its like get away with it.

Salads are not good for you. I prefer to eat what I want when I’m off duty. Unfortunately there’s this set an example for your subordinates thing going on in this day and age. Booh…lol

Somebody else used to be here, also liked Jim beam.

Never met old Jim myself, but I hear a lot about him. Apparently he's great for encouraging guys, but his eyesight ain't too good because he always picks bad looking girls.
Now, mister, that’s a misogynistic thing to say. Jim Beam is a two way street lol.
