15 Then the kings of the earth and the great men and the generals and the rich and the strong, and every one, slave and free, hid in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, 16 calling to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; 17 for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand before it?”

How did all these great men, from the least to the greatest all know that seal's turmoil upon the earth were from the Lamb of God, Yeshua/Jesus?????

IMO some super natural event happened beforehand so everyone involved knew it was from the Lord!

Does anyone see a resurrection/rapture event here before the seal judgements??

Rev. 4:1 After this I looked, and lo, in heaven an open door! And the first voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, “Come up hither, and I will show you what must take place after this.”

Isaiah 26:
20 Come, my people, enter your chambers,
and shut your doors behind you;
hide yourselves for a little while
until the wrath is past.

Yes there will be!
There will be a world wide earthquake that will move every square inch of the earth and will most likely destroy every man made structure.

So, such a terrible nature disaster or a man made event such as a world war would make everyone believe in the Lord???????

The Scripture does not say the will believe in the Lord as in being saved.
But they will recognize that God is real.
Understand also that by the time this happens, the anti-christ will be revealed, Israel will be attacked and world war may very well be present.

Rev 4:2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.


Pretribbers claim this represents the rapture of the church before the Great Tribulation starts but obviously this is just John in the first century going up to heaven by himself to see all the things God wants to show him. The rapture obviously did not happen in the first century nor did anyone else come with John to heaven let alone all Christians around the world. Also note that John goes to heaven while in the rapture Paul said people will be taken to the clouds of the Earth, not to heaven. Another issue here is that John is not changed to an immortal being before going up to heaven. Those who will be raptured will be changed into immortals.

I still don't understand why people find rapture theory compelling.

I suppose it is the same for me when you expect go thru the tribulation which is the wrath of God.

1 Thess.1: 10 and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.

Rev 3:10 Because you have kept my word of patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial which is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell upon the earth.

The Great Tribulation is the wrath of satan against the church, not God's wrath.

yes John is taken into heaven to see the revelation of Christ and his kingdom in heaven and how the events in heaven are affecting the earth. The revelation is so different because it’s the only book that is written from Gods heavenly perspective whereas the rest is Gods word written from earths perspective seeing into things but without revelation

For those who don't accept grace thru faith in Jesus and the shedding of the our Lord's blood, is not good enough for some and
look forward to the tribulation.

Hebrews 9: 28 so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

Those who have accepted Christ as their savior will become part of the royal priesthood. 1 Peter 2:9 And when He comes every eye will see him on that glorius day. Mourning shall be great by those who gave up such a great salvation. and every eye will see Him coming Rev. 1:7, and this is why from the first post of this thread that everyone knew it was the Lord and the day of wrath has come.
