I was just curious, what kinds of women are you around that have caused you to make so many generalizations?

There are always exceptions. When I was a kid, my parents had 2 rules about any money we earned: 1. 10% went to church. 2. 50% went to our savings account. If I was given $10 for my birthday, when all was said and done, I would get $4 to spend.

I still stand by the 10% to church, and while most adults can't save 50% of their income, I still follow those principles and set aside an amount for savings. And, I can pay my electric bill just fine on my own.



This last quote reminds me of a dating profile I came across a long time ago. It was of a young man in his 30's who said in that he would only talk to women who had been (or currently were) dancers, cheerleaders, gymnasts, etc., who had thin, shapely bodies, because "God made men to be visual" and he needed an attractive woman in order for him to stay interested.

I always say that I wanted to write him back and ask, "If God made men visual, does it mean that He made women blind?" In his picture, this guy clearly had a double chin and looked like he was pregnant. I'll give him kudos for posting a supposedly honest picture, but I always get a kick out of people who want things in others that they don't bother meeting themselves. I'm guessing you must be fit and trim, and plan on staying the exact same way that you are for at least the next 20 years.

I have a medical condition for which obesity is one of the most common symptoms, so I work very hard to stay healthy, and I bypass about 90% of the things I really wish I could eat for things like eggs and spinach.

Sometimes I wear makeup, and sometimes I don't--it's a personal preference that I choose. I have especially sensitive skin and a lot of things make me break out, so even when I do wear makeup, it's pretty minimal.

I am going to turn 45 this coming year, and my avatar picture was taken last year.

One of the main symptoms is easy weight gain, making it harder for me to keep my weight in check. Not using it as an excuse for the few extra pounds I have, but it contributes to it. I understand how that feels.

Most people in our part of town, the hood mainly, have very similar stories it's not super uncommon. My sister has two kids and a house, single mom, and she's doing ok too.

You're completely ignorant of how much money taxpayers have spent on your mom and sister. Public education and daycare for four kids costs taxpayers over $40,000/year. If your mom earned under $50,000, instead of paying income taxes, she got welfare from the IRS. Taxpayers provided your healthcare (medicaid). Etc. And, your mom probably did get food stamps.

That is, unless she earned upwards of $100,000/year, and I don't believe that of a single mom of four, with your sister continuing the family's parasitic tradition. You brought them up.

You can say things, but if there's no reason to back it up, it's just stupid. Makeup is feminine because women typically wear it. Yes, some men wear makeup too, but not many men and the ones who do were in a different fashion, and a lessor amount, else they're transvestites.

Generally, only two groups object to women wearing makeup. Among Christians, it's legalists, usually non-Trinitarians who think any makeup is whorish. The other group are feminists, and ugly feminists generally rebel against things feminine.

A. You've just insulted almost everyone on the forum, and almost everyone in the country

We were homeschooled and we had enough of an age gap to be watched by older siblings so that could decrease things. I just got off the phone with her and she said at times she did use food stamps at points when she needed to get back on her feet so ig i was wrong, even then it was for very small amounts of time, but for the most part no she did things on her own. She made around 50k a year and she told me she did things the way she did to teach us to work hard without NEEDING help and i appreciate her for that. You can say or think what you want, i think I'm done now, either way I'll do what i can and I'll help people to the best of my ability while not working on sundays. I hope you can do well in life God bless man.

Yes, I know that most people here used the public school. I did two. But, there's a difference. My parents paid enough taxes to cover most of my education while I was in school. And, over time, me and my family have paid the taxes to cover my education and the education of the children of that single mother of four. She'll never pay enough taxes to cover the free services she's taken from society. And, her children are digging that hole even deeper.

We should end free public education, and give loans to poor families to send their children to school. As concession to socialism, paying back those loans can be a tax credit, and no creditor will ever try to collect loan repayment.

What's with some Christian women not wearing makeup? Makeup helps a woman look better, so please do. Makeup also is feminine, and I want a feminine woman, not a woman who looks like a boy.

I know some women are frugal with money, but not the ones I meet. Even women living on their own and financially struggling still love to wildly spend money, and want me to do the same. Don't ask me or your dad to help with your electric bill when you keep the oven running and your home chilly in the summer.

While this isn't nearly as much of a problem with Christian woman as with secular woman, feminists attitudes make everyone miserable. I dated a girl who claimed to be a Christian feminist. She was generally conservative and wanted to be a stay-at-home mom. What kind of feminist wants a man to support her? (And, what kind of man wants a woman who claims to be a feminist?)

Most modern Christians, male and female, are pathetic when it comes to sound doctrine, including the refusal of Christian submission. I think I have the soundest doctrine of all . If you're a Christian woman who can't name five books of the Bible, in order, don't you think you should be a little less militant in objecting to my doctrines and causing needless conflict? It's not just doctrine, so many people seem to insist on believing nonsense things, even when it hurts their quality of life.

Men might be worse on this point than women, but men aren't my concern right now. So many women seem to have little interest in dressing nicely, controlling weight, or cultivating sophistication. Twenty years from now, I want a woman who is a woman, not a middle-aged girl.

I like my home to be comfortable, so I heat it when it is cold. I have a heatpump that makes the heating quite reasonable, and have floor heating in the basement. It is cheaper to heat the house that way, than using other methods for heating. On colder days, or when it is a cold peak, I lit the fireplace, that is modern, double burning and very cost efficient. I still concider myself rather wise with money. My father is dead, my mother is living on her pension and I, despite being disabled, earn enough to heat my house, provide for myself and a husband to be, and buy nice, quality clothes that are warm and feminine. Even Biblical, as I prefer not to mix fibres. I have shoulder long hair, and I go to thehairdresser when I feel like it.

So.... to be a middle aged girl that doesn't take responsibility for my finaces, is nothing I could associate with.

Am I femine? I guess I am. Do I wear make up? Nope. It doesn't make me less ugly. Am I a feminist? No. Am I ready to live in a marriage where in submission to my husband? Yes. But luckily I have a fiance that respects me for who I am and that loves Jesus as much (or even more) than I do.

Your arguments and your doctrine seems so far off, it is more confusing than enlightening. Do you want a woman that pays her way, or a girly girl that submits to you? If nothing else, it makes this forum alive for some minutes a day. Good job with that. And good luck finding the woman your heart desires. I really can't figure out what kind of woman that is, because your post doesn't make that much sense.
