That actually was from my Mom.. although she wasn't ever a D.I.( or me, either)..we kids probably thought that when we were young, and "kept in tow".I heard a drill instructor in the Army say that very same thing in regards to military equipment.

That is something I will definitely use!One hack that I wife discovered is that to remove baked-in stuff on pans and casserole dishes easily is to add a little Dawn, fill with water and add a dryer sheet on top. Let soak 5 or 10 minutes and the stuff easily is removed with a scouring pad. Harden stuff comes right off. Tremendous time saver.
Turn off the TV. It's a waste of life and you don't need anyone else (especially them) in your head!
Yeahhhhhhhh.... I'm still working on that oneI learned.."There's a place for everything...and everything in it's place"
This way you don't lose time and effort.![]()
Thats a lot of dawn you're going through!Dawn dishwashing liquid can be used for just about any cleaning. I use it for shampoo, put a diluted version in a foaming hand pump for the bathroom sink, wash my car with it, kill bugs with dawn in a spray bottle, clean my dog with it...
Just kidding. I'm a guy. I don't really wash my car.But the part about killing bugs, that was serious. It'll drop a wasp fast.
Something about it makes bubbles in the air channels that wasps use to breathe. They suffocate mid-flight.Thats a lot of dawn you're going through!I do use it to mop my floors and for dog (and occasionally husband) flea baths, I never thought to use it on wasps though!
