I think i agree with this. a part of adam and eve lives in us all.You were in Adam's loins, when he fell you fell with him.
if that statement is true, God's Word falls apart at Gen 2:17 ... in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. When Adam sinned, God did not immediately put Adam to death
Only Eve was deceived. Adam was not ... And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression (1 Timothy 2:14).2 Adam and eve where decieved by satan, another reason we should forgive them.
I know they still died spiritually, im aware of that. and im also aware theres no indication that adam was decieved. but not everything is seen. Eve could have told adam the same story she had been told.if that statement is true, God's Word falls apart at Gen 2:17 ... in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
In the text, the words shalt surely die are translated from the Hebrew word mûṯ and the Hebrew word mûṯ is actually repeated in the text so that it reads in the day that thou eatest thereof mûṯ mûṯ.
In English, we should read the verse as in the day that thou eatest thereof dying thou shall die.
When Adam and Eve ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, there was a death that occurred right when they ate and what died was that which was most vital to their life ... that which allowed them to have the close communion with God.
In Gen 3:8, when God called to them, they tried to hide themselves from Godthat, my friend, was a result of the death which occurred when they ate.
The fact that their physical death did not occur for many years does not mean they did not die in the day that they ate of the tree ... it just bears out the truth of mûṯ mûṯ (dying thou shall die).
Only Eve was deceived. Adam was not ... And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression (1 Timothy 2:14).
Those are examples of Jesus forgiving peoples' sins. People can't forgive other peoples' sins.
We cannot forgive sins against God only he can.
But if one trespass against you he has sinned against you.
We are asked to forgive to follow the example of Jesus.
If I waited for some in my life to repent before I would forgive I'd be drinking poison and expect a healing.
Forgiveness reflects the heart of the person. I've seen people apologize to another for a offence and still feel bitter toward that person.
Jesus said "forgive them for they no not what they do" . I believe in some situations the implications of the trespass goes farther than what is seen or heard.
Sort of like a spark near a gas can. Forgiveness can be the extinguisher .
Forgiveness spoils the plot of satan to ruin your prayer life, to harden your heart, to cause bitterness, in the hearts of those who try to walk upright.
Flesh will be flesh. Expect rumors, lies, miscommunication, backbiting, gossip, hatred, evil, contempt,
These are the works of satan to enter in the hearts of the up right to rob them of the joy and peace that God has given them. To discredit there testamony, to bring them to a place of shame and become imprisoned by there own pride or self righteousness.
Adam is a foreshadow of the Lord Jesus Christ.I know they still died spiritually, im aware of that. and im also aware theres no indication that adam was decieved. but not everything is seen. Eve could have told adam the same story she had been told.
Adam joined Eve in her fallen state when he ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil:de-emerald said:We dont know exactly,, and did adam fully get it. he saw his wife eat and not die a physical death. did adam know God ment they would die a spiritual death ?
Because it doesnt say.
I believe forgiving others keeps our hearts tender and not hardened. A hardened heart is fertile ground for bitterness.de-emerald said:Anyway what ever you feal theres plenty of reasons more we should forgive them.
it means supercalifragilisticexpialidociouswhat does smh mean ?
i belive so to, i believe its a very important subject that needs very important understanding.Adam is a foreshadow of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Adam joined Eve in her fallen state when he ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil:
Genesis 2:23-24 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
I believe forgiving others keeps our hearts tender and not hardened. A hardened heart is fertile ground for bitterness.
