Why become a Catholic when you could be a Christian instead?

Be aware that upon joining the Roman Church, you will placed under the jurisdiction of Rome, and be expected to fully comply with everything in the Catechism and in the Code Of Canon Law, plus all of Rome's traditions, and every Bull, every Holy Day of Obligation, every Encyclical plus all of the Sermon On The Mount and everything taught in the epistles of Paul, Peter, James, Jude, and John; along with every ruling of Rome's Church Councils including Nicaea 1 & 2, Constantinople 1 & 2 & 3, Ephesus, Chalcedon, Lateran 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & 5, Lyons 1 & 2, Vienne, Constance, Florence, Trent, and Vaticans 1 & 2.
In addition, you will be permitted to read the Bible on your own, but will not be allowed to interpret it on your own.
There's also the matter of unforgiven mortal sins. Should you pass away with even one of those kinds of sins on your record; just one, you will go straight to hell with no chance to repent and no stopover in a Purgatory. Even if you've been a faithful and true Catholic for fifty years you will still go to hell for just one unforgiven mortal sin. Your past's sterling performance will not be taken into account.

You ask a lot of questions. Can I ask you a couple?
1. Do you read the word
2. Do you believe He lived and died for you.
3. Do you actively seek Him
4. If you do believe, what exactly is it you believe?

I’m not sure if I completely believe the Bible. I think I believe he lived and died. I pray. My thumb is dry and cracked right now so I will probably respond more tomorrow.
From the frying pan into the fire.....trust Jesus by faith and then start studying the bible with much prayer.....the Catholic church has led 100's of millions of people to the pit over the last 1650 years....if not billions......they do not teach the truth.....
NOT SAYING ALL CATHOLICS ARE LOST....just that over all they do not hold and or teach a correct message of salvation!!

Yes, you should become a Catholic, or at least attend their Church, and then spread the truth anytime you can of what the truth of the scriptures state, until they boot you out of their Church, but it was well worth it.
Like Paul that went in to the Jewish synagogues, and preached the truth of Jesus.
I think it would be neat if all the Protestants started going to Catholic Churches, every Protestant, and preach, and preach the truth, and the chaos we could put upon them as we go to their mass, and go to their Bible studies, and proclaim the truth until they are at their wits end, and the assembly in an uproar not knowing what to believe, and doubting the Catholic faith.
But then again it might not be such a good idea, for the Protestants might make them mad, and the Pope and Vatican call for persecution of those who oppose them to be enforced again, and here we go again.

You may say the same about any other denomination under the Antiochan umbrellaa called Christianity.
If you want a more stable church to attend you could always attend one of the main line Churches such as the Epicalopian or the Anglican Church they have a more formal way of worship and have some similarity to the Catholics without the Pope and

The RCC is wrong, but bashing our brethren within the RCC is not in our manner of love.

Why do I feel this is so? I came to this realization after reading of the Great Harlot who is the mother of harlots.
I came to this understanding when I learned God will call His children out of Her. It stands to reason He is calling His children out of her daughters also.
Keep the brethren out of harsh criticisms, for this is not the Way in our Savior.

No, catholic do not believe in real bible. Catholic is pagan religion that believe salvation by faith + work. Bible teach salvation by faith and work is the fruit of salvation, not the couse
I would not join a Catholic Church. However, the Catholics do have much spiritual wisdom to offer and can be much closer to the living God than Protestants.
As with all groups it a mixture of good and bad. Some people have the ability to filter out and use what is good.

If U wanna fall into idolatry and witchcraft and end up in hell go. If U want a unified church u can seek in many denominations and u can find it if u keep searching and dont get lazy. I had to search and search and search through Churches for over 2-3 years to find one. Where there are people there will always come up some conflict.
Spiritual wisdom? Yea necromancy and witchcraft they have to offer. And running to priests and praying to the pope instead of God.
In the end Its your decision but I strongly discourage anyone getting into the catholic church

The major difference is deciding if any human man can have the authority God has to make holy laws or if God is supreme.
It is wise to find the reports of the yearly councils of the church. We are living in such a wonderful age they are available to us. Check the decisions made with scripture. You will see what influenced them through the ages, and find it wasn't following God that led to those decisions.
