You have a problem with computer speeds? Especially since in this case speed is necessary to save somebody's life?
Even if no lives are saved, the computational computing power increases exponentially every decade.
We need this to do exactly that they did in that case. Save time.
In the case of playing chess with a computer, that's exactly what a computer does. Calculates millions of moves per second, millions of combinations and then plays the best move.
Could a human do that? Yes, but i would take like 1 month or more for a player like Gary Kasparov to do one move, calculate and then do another move.

In the Bible we have Jesus turning water into wine, yet the Bible tells us that we should not be a prisoner to a habit such as alcohol or food.
So we can take this teaching and apply it on a moral level to anything in life.
In regards to technology, it can and it has been used for evil. Similarly, it can be used for good. It's an unescapable reaction to our fallen nature.
In this topic we are discussing just that.
We are also discussing the term "AI" itself which is a misleading marketing term sort of like "Dark Web".
Learning more about a topic can also help you distinguish on a moral level when it's being used for good or for evil.

Long before there ever was modern technology, the same problem existed for man which is relaying on things other than the Lord to meet their needs.
This has been going on for centuries courtesy of the devil who is always seeking to lead mankind away from the Lord.
Relax, it is a lame argument they use, "if you even question AI then you shouldn't be using the internet", no one gives that any credibility. It is completely hypocritical of them to judge someone else for using an internet forum that they are using.
They accused us of being anti vax when we questioned why they were mandating an experimental vaccine which was against the law. Well now we know it was a kill shot, at least to 17 million people, or roughly equivalent to two Holocausts.
You should have seen what happened when I questioned why we were going after Iraq after 911. I thought all they needed were pitchforks and torches to make the whole reaction complete.
Anyone who isn't concerned about AI, and the Beast system we see rising is a fool. Hard to believe anyone who is a Christian and is familiar with the Bible could respond that way. But sadly they do.
