what do you use for curtains?

When I bought my first house and was living alone, I had a blanket up in the bedroom window for a curtain.
At Christmas my sister felt she needed to put up a Christmas tree for me. The next summer, it was still up.
Something over the windows is one thing. Pictures and knick-knacks and decorations all over the walls is another, much less useful thing.

For some reason a lot of kids I pick up on the church bus seem to live in houses that have blankets over the windows...

I use curtains for curtains, but there was a time bed sheets were used. I must admit, I like your style Krumbeard. Did your sister take down the tree?

No. But it kept bothering people so I carried the whole thing up and put it in the attic. that way it was all ready for the next Christmas.

Now that is what you call efficiency. You make a great efficiency expert for a corporation, you have skills!

I read and write English because I need it to access the infinite informational resources of the world wide web, but I never get to speak it in real life. As a result when tourists talk to me in English I understand them, but I cannot make myself say anything back to them in English, the vocabulary just leaves my mind and I communicate with signs and nods... I am also shy that maybe I'll say a word the wrong way or use a word in a way that doesn't make sense.

Well, if it's only A LITTLE embarrassing, I suppose I don't need to go for the REALLY embarrassing ones

Every time I go hiking and I reach a spot high up where I can see no one, I scream "YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW" at the top of my lungs as a tradition, lol. It's not that bad, until I get caught...o_O

At work, I kept getting mad because my fax wasn’t going through. Then... after about 3 tries, I realized I was sending it to an office phone number instead of fax number. Lol.

I get embarassed/frustrated when I overtalk in a situation. It's something of a social anxiety (I think). Not paying attention to others and their needs and sort of super imposing my own :(

When I sneeze, I make it as loud as I can. Sometimes I add Oh to the end. Achoo-oh!

Thats the only time Im really loud and seeking attention. Then everyone blesses me for it.
Otherwise, Im really quiet.

Once I worse two different shoes to work. They were similar in looks, but different enough for it to be embarrassing.
