I've been debating this and really think there are several people around her who could have valuable insight on the subject.

Do you think its possible to start a relationship as teenagers and stay with that person? Not just "dating" for a couple weeks but a long term, serious, and Godly relationship. Obviously it has to be possible but it seems extremely rare.

I think it is possible but your right it is rare especially in this ever changing world and its cultures. The most mature thing is to remember that those ages are really young and even though the feelings are real and the intentions of those relationships are pure teens are still maturing. They are always changing and learning and getting into a very serious relationship especially if your unsure of yourself and new to the faith can be a challenge. Teens change their minds all the times and go through a ton of stuff before they even finish school so a serious relationship I don't think its the best thing at an age like that. It takes a lot of maturity and certainty. Always praying for the Lord to guide you and take advice from godly people on relationships and of course using common sense. I think its possible but the majority of the time a teen relationship that turns into a partnership of a life time is extremely rare. A lot of firsts don't end up being your forever even if its your intentions to last forever. But in the end I believe God really does have someone for everyone and we will know when the time comes.

You answered your own question. It's possible but extremely rare. Even if it lasts more than a few weeks it's still likely to end. For my first gf I was 13 and we dated for 9 months. But it still ended.

We can only live one day at a time and there is no guarantee of tomorrow. If I have learned anything in my years.....we
need to enjoy what we have today and not worry about tomorrow. Is is possible, yes, is it probable, no but who is to say you are not that unique individual that will be able to defy the odds!

Enjoy your friendship and see where it goes!

I think it is rare and getting rarer.
.... nowdays people seem to think that it is natural to date a lot of people just like you try on several clothes at the store to see what fits ....

Find a girl, remain faithful, do not playing her feelings or yours, work hard at it, study her, and above all, follow the Lord.

If God has someone for you to marry, she will come along at just the right time.
