Honestly, by reading what you've said, this is a relationship that will soon uproot your whole life. By the way you talk, the decisions you're making by even dating this guy at all, you will spend the rest of your life in regret. It seems pretty clear that bad choices are a heartbeat away.

You most certainly do know what to do but are trying to rationalize against it. What you are contemplating would be a tremendous mistake if you actually did it. You will ready when you are older, have more education, a place of your own and have married someone who is prepared to take care of you for the rest of his life.

The fact that you are worried what your parents and God thinks about it tells you something.

My advice to tell this guy to take a hike.
 
thank you everyone for your kind word and helpful comments. I have prayed, thought, and talked to my boyfriend about and we have decided to wait. I have realized my relationship with god is more important than my relationship with my boyfriend. I am really thankful for your help. it helped whip me back into shape. I'm still struggling with the temptation but that's too be expected. I'm going to continue to pray that god will give me strength as I continue with my relationship not only with my boyfriend but with god as well.
 
Well said, which is why I'm wondering she isn't talking to her parent(s) about this seeking their support and, if necessary, intervention to help her protect her own soul.

I haven't talked to my parents and I'm not going to. I was only going to tell when I had gone all the way which i have decided against. it would break their hearts and now that I have decided against it. I see how silly it was to even consider it. my boyfriend is a good guy. im just not use to feeling like this. it's taking some getting use to. i don't and never will regret dating him and would be more than happy to spend the rest of my life with him. we're just too young at the moment to make that kind of commitment with both of us graduating in the next couple of years. when we do get to that age and point of our lives i would be more than happy to make that kind of commitment but right now its not possible.

my parents know what I'm dating the guy and they have met him. I haven't been struggling with this for that long. I don't feel the need to tell them that I have a short struggle with temptation. this is between me, my boyfriend and god. I came to this site for a Christian insight and I have gotten it. I am very thankful for that. but I am at a good place now. I have decided to wait and that I'm not ready. I want to be a virgin for the man I'm going to marry. I just forgot about that for a while but now I'm as committed as I ever was.

Of course your highly testosteroned boyfriend is ready! So dating for a while is an instant reason for sex? You aren't actually very worried what GOD thinks if you are considering it, contemplating it, claiming that you are 'ready' and yet, there is NO marriage involved at all....very typical these days where nobody has anything to look forward to on their wedding night. This actually sickens me that young people have to say "I don' know what to do". If you truely read, studied and understood what the BIBLE says about sex before marriage, the answer is obvious and you would have never had to ask for advice on this topic.
 
I had a short struggle and lost my footing in my faith for a short time. I'm in a good place now. I am trying to get my boyfriend to come to church with me so I can express my faith with him. god is the only thing I can rely on sometimes and I'm upset with my self for considering breaking one of his laws. I'm asking for forgiveness and I am going to continue in my relationship with him. if god wants to me give up my bf then I will but until in 100% sure that's what he wants me to do I'm not going to give up my boyfriend. he makes me so happy. this whole thing was my fault. he hasn't done anything. we want to be together and that's what we are going to do. we just aren't going to be together the way I was thinking about for a moment. I'm very sorry I even considered this but thank you for all of ur help.
