I started designing this Psalm 20:1-5 panel March 10, 2020 :)

It looked a little different when I first posted it

these are good, i don't post on these forums any more but occasionally look to remind myself why. i will say your pictures are a mirror of how God works, how he engages.

Thank you, Funkus! I am quite behind in getting them on my own thread, but hope to catch up by year end :)

Romans8-38-39s.png

I designed this Romans 8:38-39 panel mid April, 2020 :)

I put some finishing touches on it earlier this week, including changing
the color of the robe to make it more compatible with the overall theme.

It's truly amazing artwork. So colorful! Forgive my asking as I am a complete dufus when it comes to all things art.

Do you create all this manually, or do you have help with the use of digital programs?

Again, forgive me for my ignorance. I guess a better way to put it is, how do you do all this amazing stuff?

Oh, hello, and thank you! :) My designs are digital collages, created using individual elements made available on the web for personal use as long as there is no commercial gain, which suits me just fine :D Over time, I have collected thousands of such elements as angels, butterflies, flowers, backgrounds, frames, special effects etc, and starting with a blank slate, I begin by adding a frame and backgrounds (more often than not these days, I create my own frame), then the elements surrounding the verse, such as flowers mostly, and special effects like stars and things to add gradients of variant complementary colors to the background, and also butterflies (a fave LOL) and birds, dragonflies, and the like. I make many adjustments to each element as I add it, including sizing, crop, color, hue, opacity, tilt, transform, and other layer effects (especially on the text to make it stand out from he background) etc to make each individual element look its best in the overall panel design. Even choosing the font can be a persnickety business LOL. Earlier this year I began constructing my own figures out of multiple pieces, and that is often the most labor intensive part of any panel, since I often try many different things, such as faces, eyes, mouths, dress/robe, wings, halo effects, etc. while the figure under construction before I am happy with it :) That sometimes means I spend a fair amount of time trying to make something work that I eventually scrap because it simply doesn't :giggle:

John11-25-26s.png

I began designing this John 11:25-26 panel April 18, 2020 :)

I have largely moved away from using figures such as these because some people
find them offensive :oops::unsure: However, there are some others that I have not posted
yet, that I do plan on showing :) I moved into designing messenger angels instead :D

Exodus35-35s.png

April 18, 2020; I designed this Exodus 35:35 panel for @ArtsieSteph :)

Then I made alterations to it for @TabinRivCA :)

Isaiah54-17s.png

They do look slightly different from when I first posted them ;):D
A gold ribbon for your artistic achievements', again. The text and picture match on the top panel but IMO the bottom seem at odds. Mind you it's just my opinion; However the bottom pic seems to me to be to feminine for the text. But I know that you don't do warriors or avenging angels much if ever.

When I read the text (Issaiah 54:17), a suit of armor, and a sword or bible come to mind.

P.S: No flaming horses though. These would be my style.
