My wife is pretty. I find joy in knowing that I am connected to her. As far as other girls....,.i know some cool ones and I know some that bug the crap outa me. *ducks*

Just out of curiosity, how much bugging is required for this end result?

*Lynx walks away whistling innocently.

Well my Husband is really nice, he helps around the house he also takes out the garbage in a very organized impressive way. He also loves our children and is a man of God. I say I like men in general because they don't seem to let little things bother them. I can't say I'm always like that.

what I like about ladies is they are great at preventing me from doing stupid things because i never think ahead.

I like that they lead. I like when they wear a watch with their sleeve rolled up a little. I love the smell of Axe deodorant lol. I like that he is taller than me with strong arms and big hands. I like that he protects and provides. I like that he always seems to know what to do. And dare I say, I like his male ego, when he uses it the right way. I like that he seems so strong and powerful, but that he is so gentle and tender hearted with me. Like Andy Garcia in the movie When a Man Loves a Woman, or the guy in Loves Comes Softly, although I don't agree with arranged marriages, or Kirk Cameron in the latter part of Fireproof. Although that movie promoted the false doctrine of ask Jesus into your heart. All angels are men, but not all men are angels.

I´m glad God saw deeep inside Adam´s heart to give him a woman. He (God) surely knew what we both had largely missed.

Everyone says the book is better than the movie - and it always is. There was a radio show that would replay old "The Shadow" series and I loved it and thought it was better than TV. Did anybody ever see the movie Shallow Hal? It was a Jack Black stupid movie but it somehow parlayed an important message. Sight - the ability to see with eyes - doesn't give us the picture. Our minds pick up the detail of a book and imagine the sequence of events. Because I knew The Shadow characters intimately I knew what they looked like having never seen them.

It's a tragedy, really, that Thomas - a disciple of Christ - had to look at the nail holes in the risen Christ's hands - because ultimately, his "sight" failed him if he never knew Jesus would not lie to him.

In this way, this CC site has given me vision. I've looked beyond a picture of a face and bypassed my usual quick determinations and prejudice and the apparitions I'm "seeing" are quite lovely, you bunch of CC women, you. Gentle in spirit; kind - with aching and pleading hearts just like mine, with fears and wisdom similar to my own. Only in my mind's eye, you're all a bunch prettier.

Sad that most of the men's comments involve putting men down in order to say something positive about women.

Part of the process...when we are weak we are made strong :) Part of the process is a comparative thing between the sexes.

Just a quick note: someone mentioned that asking Jesus into one's heart was false doctrine, and I'm not positive how she meant it, but He was very specific about "abide in Me, and I in you" (John 15:4), and Him being our Savior from sin (1 Peter 1:18-19, among MANY others). I'm ignoring some things that I disagree with, but I intend to defend the Gospel.

Okay, back to the encouragement :)! Men seem to understand each other well, and my brother was kind enough to explain to me what Lynx meant in post #43. Once he started to tell me, I immediately got the joke, and am still rather amused :).

Men are often determined to protect, some of them to the death. It's biblical for sure to protect one's wife to that extreme, and the loyalty doesn't go unnoticed :').

i like how guys talk with sound effects, especially musicians. practice with the praise and worship music team is always interesting lol
