It is boring to you because it is people like you that when they cannot respond accordingly they will immediately start criticizing. The fact is that you cannot escape the truth of God's word, what God made clear when he first spoke.
Sadly enough, his arguments always culminated in a perverted gospel of "salvation by grace plus law, faith plus works."

No, the problem is that you don't understand Christianity and what Christ came to do.
Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
So if you believe in the Word of God then you believe that the Lord Jesus did what He said He would do.
So then the next step should be "how was the sabbath fulfilled"?
It is by the very act of giving believers Rest that the commandment to rest is fulfilled. But the Lord doesn't give us Rest only on saturdays. He gives us rest from all of our work at the law all the time.
Someone who is adamant that they must work at the law and does not understand Christianity and what Christ came to do CANNOT understand this nor do they believe it.
Resting in Christ is not something that can be taught one person to the other.
As should be abundantly obvious in this thread.
So this Rest in Christ is not a teaching of man but a gift from God.
You know, the New Covenant.

Galatians 3:2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Did you receive the Spirit, did you become spiritual, by the works of the law or by the hearing of faith?
ABUNDANTLY obvious that a person becomes spiritual NOT by the works of the law but by the hearing of faith.
Galatians 3:3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
Are you dumb? Having begun in the Spirit by Faith in Christ are you perfected by your work at the law?
And all the legalists and judaizers answer "Yes"... much to their shame and the frustration of Grace.

30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.

I'm not just picking out parts of the BIBLE That go along with what I believe , I believe That our believes should line up with the whole BIBLE ,When the BIBLE say The they keep the COMMANDMENTS ,I BELIEVE IT , I'm not just going to say that's not for me ,that must foe someone else , through you may not receive it ,It's for you just as much as for anybody else through in the BIBLE .GOD BLESS AS HE SDEES FIT .
By Faith is how we get saved from the sins that we have committed ,But faith won't keep you clean , You GOT to have anuf Faith to KEEP GODs COMMANDMENTS TO stay CLEAN , BECAUSE when YOU sin after you been clean ,Well You would be like the SOW returning to the wallowing in the mire . & that means that you are filthy again , ROMANS 3: 25 tells us the the remission of sins that are past .
We haft go back to the cross if we sin after we have been saved. Braking the COMMANDMENTS is SIN & makes us a transgressor . GOD BE WITH YOU AS HE SEES FIT .
Faith does keep us clean.
Going back to try and work for your own righteousness is the exact definition of the sow returning to wallow in the mire.

But to fulfill... read all the chapters prior to him say that and you will see what he was fulfilling. In past post I elaborated on this, but your ignorance blinds you from the to the truth of God's word.

You are still with this rest argument and all you do is throw verse out of context to try to substantiate your distorted view. You have become a broken record, so I will ignore your post after this post.
By the way, everyone calls themselves Christians and to you all those who say they are Christian are believers, in other words, you are deceiving yourself.
You don't have to twist the Words of the Lord. Matthew 5:17 is perfectly simple and clear. The Lord didn't come to destroy the Law and the Prophets. He came to fulfill them.
Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
How are we not under the law? Why are we NOT expected to work at the law, which includes trying to rest on saturdays?
Because the Lord fulfilled the Law and gives us Rest from our own work at our own righteousness.
1 Corinthians 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
How is it that you don't understand this when it is so simple?
And then when you are shown this simplicity that is in Christ how can you argue against it?

The scriptures are clear. Follow the directions to the city. Keep Gods 10 commandments if you wish to enter the city {the kingdom rest}

I only know of one city which will remain for ever and the directions to that city are a bit more detailed in Jer.17

REV.12 [16] And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.[17] And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, WHICH KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD, AND HAVE THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS CHRIST.

LUKE 18 [20] Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.
The translated word for commandments in the above scripture is “entole”. As you can see its the 10 commandments. No doubt about it.
REVELATION 22 [14] Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
The word commandments found in Rev.22 is in the greek the word entole.
Pretty simple if you simply believe the Word
In Luke 18:20, Jesus lists five commandments that come from the ten commandments. However, it seems clear to me that he is simply listing 5 commandments to represent all of The commandments that God gave to the Israelites through Moses in the wilderness.
Surely we don't think that Jesus was encouraging the man to stop circumcising his male offspring, do we?
That word for commandments is used in many places in the scriptures. For example,

IMO, it's clearly not the ten commandments there.
The Ten commandments GO all the way back to creation , If they had not went all the way Cain wouldn't have sinned , With out the Law There is no sin ,The BIBLE tells US .

It's clear to me, though, that Jesus doesn't want the man to keep just those five commandments and stop there!
So, the five commandments are representative of something larger.
