I am not the one confused about the Lords {Day} in John, this [day] referes
to [a year] long punishment on this earth , before Jesus starts the mill.

Calling it the Jewish Old Testament makes it seem out of date and no longer useful.
It is the WORD OF GOD predating Jesus. With the New Testament that completes the Bible as the WORD OF GOD.
There are denominations that believe that every time we sin we are condemned. If we fail to ask forgiveness then we are condemned to hell. They feel terrible about people dying in car accidents that might not have asked for forgiveness.
I totally disagree with them. A close friend goes to one of those churches.

As in 6 days work, and in the seventh day rest.
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing,
that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years,
and a thousand years as one day.

Now, I don't think that means we work for 6 thousand years, and then have 1 thousand year rest,
obviously.
But it is showing us that times and durations which the Lord sets are not fixed,
nor are they the same as our times.
So we have to use our intelligent discretion.
Have you tried to make a sabbath for Him?
If you had, then you know, one cannot do it in a day.
After two days will He revive us:
in the third day He will raise us up, and we shall live in His sight.
Hosea 6:2
And you haven't made the true sabbath before, as commanded in the law,
then your six days are surely up, and it is definitely time for you to have a rest.

Jesus does say to keep the commandments there.
And His quick list leaves no doubt He is speaking of Moses' law.
Look at the same verse from Luke.
And Jesus said unto him,
Why callest thou Me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.
Thou knowest the commandments,
Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.
Luke 18:19-20
You know the sabbath is a commandment.
But since Jesus didn't repeat the whole of the law here,
you are not doing the commandments which He didn't list,
in His off the cuff answer which He gives the rich man?
In this list in Luke, Jesus does not say "Love thy neighbour as thy self".
Are you going to leave that one off now, because Jesus didn't say it here?
How about, neither list contains "Love the Lord your God".
Do you not do that one too?
And how about this one then?
And he [the rich man] said, All these have I kept from my youth up.
Now when Jesus heard these things, He said unto him,
Yet lackest thou one thing:
sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven:
and come, follow Me.
Luke 18:21-22
So tell us truly, did you sell all that you had, and donate the money to the needy?
And follow Jesus? (to keep all the commandments of God)
Jesus popped that one in on the end of His list, didn't He?
I was blessed greatly when I did that commandment.

Because God commanded us to not kill, I had to ask Jesus what all the [seemingly] murderous commandments are about.
We have to stone the wicked to death.
Kill all the canaanites at Jericho.
So much killing and war.
Jesus said to me, cast out the devils.
I give power to kill them.
I now stone them with verses from Dueteronomy.
Jesus said, if your eye is offended, pluck it out.
Not your eye, silly, your offence.
I believe God is just saying, if we do take someone's eye, we will lose ours.
Not if someone takes our eye, then we have to take theirs.
I see it relates to: If we live by the sword, we die by the sword.
And: What we sow, so shall we reap.
I don't mind saying, Karma.
He kills our devils.
I am parting your meat offering which you have offered up to the priests of God (us).
Jesus did make you a priest unto God and the Father.
Now I am in Israel.
Indeed you are blessing.
Now to share the Lord's bread, a small cake.
Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency;
and array thyself with glory and beauty.
Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath:

I chose this one, because I believe it relates to all the stoning and killing we have to do.
And this is all done in the kingdom of God, which is within,
and in the judgment, in the congregation.
As set out in the beginning of Deuteronomy chapter 12.

You are speaking about the Lord's circumcision of the heart, are you not.
If we keep this meaning in mind when reading St Paul, and he says "the circumcision"
then he speaking of us, and not those who are circumcised externally,
then that changes a lot of the interpretations we see being advertised here.
For we are the circumcision,
which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus,
and have no confidence in the flesh.
Philippians 3:3
And I know, the circumcision occurs in the sabbath.
The coming of Jesus happens in the sabbath.

Grace was here for the faithful even under the law, but few could find it.....in part this is due to our Father's plan and His wisdom for no man can fathom the wisdom of God. I do know Christ, Yeshua, did preach to those who were below during the interim of His crucifixion and His resurrection, and I do not pretend to understandimplicitely, but I do believe implicitely. The Feast Paul wanted to attend was the feast of Pentecost that today is called Whit Sunday. Paul will have celebrated Easter and Christmas as well.
For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost. (Act 20:16 KJV)

Other than my Sabbath the Lord has provided me with more than I can accomplish alone, so I do not sit on my duff telling everyone how the One I try to be like is their rest and they are never "working."
Now the works He gives me overflow so greatly that there is plenty of works for everyone else to do, for they are receiving the same works.
It is a crying shame that the hyper-grace or grace only folks just don't get it...........

If you would understand friend...the Sabbath is the ONLY holy day of the week with GOD...sanctified and separate from all others....and for us to share in... Mean anything to you ?
Our Savior is the Lord of it and if you have no part in what He offers you...how can you be saved ? Heb 5v9.
In Europe, we start week with Monday and end it with Sunday, so Sunday is the "Seventh day".
I wonder what you would do here. Rest on the 6th day just because of the name of the day or rest on Sunday just because it is number 7?
