You have in fact been deceitful from the start and have not answered the question despite many attempts to get you to be truthful. It's a yes or no answer - not your continued deflection from telling the truth.
Now can you please be truthful and answer the question and stop being so deceitful? You are entitled to your own opinion but stop this deceitful behavior and be honest. Thank you.
I told you before - that I don't fall for your spiritual manipulation attempts to say "Why don't I believe God's word? and other such nonsense because it doesn't line up with your perversion of the gospel of the graced of God in Christ's work on the cross and resurrection.
Your Judaizing attempts will be met by many Christians "so that" the truth of the gospel would remain with us Christians - just like Paul did.
Paul said that he did not stand for the Judaizers message for one hour so that the truth would remain with them. Gal. 2:5
Galatians 2:5 (NASB)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] But we did not yield in subjection to them for even an hour, so that the truth of the gospel would remain with you.
The Lord has blessed you too my friend.
Absolutely no need to do this anymore its part of the ordinance written by Moses that was nailed to the Cross and is the context to Colossians Chapter 2 which is a shadow pointing to Jesus as out Great High Priest.Jesus also told a man that was healed to go show himself to the priest. That was a commandment of God in the Old Testament as well. Do we do that today? Of course not. That is a commandment ion the law that Jesus kept. Why don't we do it now?
Absolutely! The Law of God shows us that we are sinners in need of a Saviour. If you have no Law you have no knowledge of sin if there is no knowledge of sin there is no need of a Saviour if we have no Saviour we are most.Jesus also told the rich young ruler when he came and asked Jesus "What must "I do" to inherit eternal life?" Jesus gave him the law - keep the commandments. Jesus did this to expose the fact that this rich guy had actually broken the 1st commandment and had money as his true "god". The law had done it's job and exposed his need for a Savior. Do we tell people today to keep the law to inherit eternal life? Of course not - well maybe Judaziers say to do it but we know that is a perversion of the gospel of the grace of God.
Absolutely! Love God’s Word. Thank you for sharing it. Do you believe God’s Word? “Mad does not live by bread alone but by EVERY WORD that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” (Matt 4:4)What do we tell people in the New Covenant?
Acts 16:30-31 (NASB) [SUP]30 [/SUP]and after he brought them out, he said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"
[SUP]31 [/SUP]They said, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household."
Did you know that everything in the New Testament comes from the Old Testament? God’s Word is AMAZING! “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” (2Tim 3:16)To say that Christians are sinning and not obeying God because they do not follow the Old Testament way of observing the Sabbath is in fact a Judaizing spirit that perverts the gospel of the grace of God.
People are free to do anything they like in life but we all shall be accountable to God for the things that we do. Unbelief and not doing what God asks us to do and breaking God’s 10 commandments is sin and the wages of sin is death (Rom 14:23; 1John 3:4; Rom 6:23) Luckily God sent us Jesus to save us from our sins.People are free in Christ to do as they seem fit for their own consciences but once Judaizers come in to pervert the gospel - they will be vehemently stood against. Telling Christians that they are sinning and dis-obeying God because they don't follow the Old Testament way of observing the Sabbath - is a Judaizer in action - no doubt about it. Judaizers need to keep the whole law and start stoning people for not observing the Sabbath as outlined in the law. If we are to "keep" all of the commandments of God - then get the stones ready or be guilty of breaking the whole law.
The real thing can be found here in God’s Word ……If we really want to keep the Sabbath holy and not break it - observe the real thing and not the shadow. The real thing is Christ Himself. He alone is our true Sabbath rest.
LOL!
As long as you don't call me Barbara...
Totally agree with you ! I think to some extent Being told by God what to do is a question of OBEDIENCE ! JESUS tho He were a Son had to learn obedience to the Father...and we have to be obedient to Jesus....ORDER comes from the Top down.
Does Jesus .command/tell us to obey Him ? not in so many 'words' - but more by His 'actions'. His Father spent thousands of years 'telling/commanding people to obey' without results. Why would Jesus continue in the same way just 'telling' us to obey...it would be a waste of time , for it has already been shown that this tactic does not work with man....so -
Jesus is SHOWING us by His ACTIONS to be obedient to the Father and thus kept the Commandments including the Sabbath !!! WE are to copy Him if we want to be 'conformed to HIS image' !
'This total submission' some are still fighting by following 'their own understanding and are consequently still in DISobedience, dead in tresspass and sin Eph2....that is GOD telling them their state, not us. They need to start HEARING GOD and stop fighting us who have already become obedient.
...And Genesis chapter 2 has NOTHING to do with the Sabbath or Sabbath-keeping!Hi Grace777,
Well this is what we should be doing. Let’s talk about God’s Word shall we?
Absolutely no need to do this anymore its part of the ordinance written by Moses that was nailed to the Cross and is the context to Colossians Chapter 2 which is a shadow pointing to Jesus as out Great High Priest.

If we are professing to know God however while living in known sin the Word of God tells us…
“Whosoever abides in him sins not: whosoever sins hath not seen him, neither known him.” (1John 3: 6)
“Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
, He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” (1John 3:8)
The real thing can be found here in God’s Word ……
V1 “Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.” V2 “And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
V3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. (Gen 2:1-3)
God’s Word clearly tells us that Jesus is the God of creation and maker of the Sabbath and we follow him because it is the Lord’s Day that he made for us….
“And he said unto them, The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.” (Mark 2:27)
“Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath.” (Mark 2:28)
Now this is fun lets share some more from God’s Word.
God bless you.

The Roman Catholic Church teaches a doctrine similar to that of the Judaizers of the New Testament in this way: its doctrine is a mixture of law and grace. At the Council of Trent in the 16th century, the Catholic Church explicitly denied the idea of salvation by faith alone.
Grace,
The Council of Trent was back in the 1,500's.
The idea of being saved only by faith was called an anathema.
I never liked this and the RCC today does not teach this,
However, I'm beginning to understand why they made this declaration back then and, I'm sorry to say, I'm beginning to agree with it.
I'm on another thread where I am being literally attacked for saying that FAITH IS NOT ENOUGH, but we must obey Jesus' teachings and commandments.
So, apparently, some today DO BELIEVE that faith ALONE is enough.
I hear that the faith will lead to the good works. This makes it sound as though the good works will come around on their own in some way.
NO! The N.T. clearly states that good works are NECESSARY and we should not be afraid to proclaim this.
Why the big fear to proclaim it? Because some would want to take away the responsibility that God places on us to FOLLOW HIS TEACHINGS. (not you).
It's almost as though the forefathers saw that hyper-grace was on the way and made a statement against it.
Just my thoughts...
LOL
It's too funny Grace.

The fact that you are blind to the fact that Genesis chapter 2 has nothing to do with Sabbath-keeping is your burden - not mine.Hi graceNpeace,
I can call the sky purple the sky purple the sky purple over and over too but if the sky is Blue no matter how many times you say it it will not turn purple. If God says the sky is Blue I must believe him what about you?
God bless you
That is the sixteenth century.Grace,
The Council of Trent was back in the 1,500's.
The Catholic teachings change from time to time because they are in error. Unfortunately sometimes they change from one error to another. How sad they believe themselves to hold the Truth of God's Word when they are far from it.The idea of being saved only by faith was called an anathema.
I never liked this and the RCC today does not teach this,
Most of us already know that you agree with heresies of the RCC.However, I'm beginning to understand why they made this declaration back then and, I'm sorry to say, I'm beginning to agree with it.
You seem to constantly overlook that people say that works proceed from faith once a person is already saved. You are blind to it and willfully so, and then misrepresent what others say, and constantly are on the attack yourself. This has been pointed out to you repeatedly and repeatedly you continue in your falseness. You seem quite attached to it.I'm on another thread where I am being literally attacked for saying that FAITH IS NOT ENOUGH, but we must obey Jesus' teachings and commandments.
What it means is in Scripture. Perhaps you need to do a little more reading? Apparently decades of study was not enough for you. The natural man does not accept the Spiritual things of God, after all.So, apparently, some today DO BELIEVE that faith ALONE is enough.
I hear that the faith will lead to the good works. This makes it sound as though the good works will come around on their own in some way.
The fact that you are blind to the fact that Genesis chapter 2 has nothing to do with Sabbath-keeping is your burden - not mine.
Neither you nor beta can provide any proof that Genesis chapter 2 presents a command to observing the Sabbath.
Unfortunately, you (and those that incorrectly promote Sabbath-keeping) have to find some justification to introduce the Sabbath BEFORE the law was given to Moses.
Hence the appeal to Genesis 2:1-2.
However, it has nothing to with man, or ANY command to man.
And the reason for this frenzied, and totally false, claim that the Sabbath can be justified from Genesis chapter 2 is because you know as well as I do that ALL Mosaic law has been fulfilled by Jesus Christ on the cross.
And so you cannot afford to admit that Sabbath-keeping is part of the law of Moses.
Because, if Sabbath-keeping is only a part of the law of Moses, and it is, then no Christian is obliged to observe the Sabbath!
Your whole convoluted and complicated theology is just a house of cards - and the bottom card has just been flicked away, and the rest is just disintegrating!
Hi, good morning 5 am here....just reading the last few posts and see 'no change in our disagreements. I am just about ready to draw a line under it all...btw, will be busy this afternoon and off line for some time.
Thanks for checking out the posts I mentioned...as you see there may be others who see the difference in spiritual and physical commandments...doesn't mean they have no bearing on each other whatever.
It is actually quite funny how you say I am blind and Genesis 2 has nothing to do with the Sabbath. Yet I can see the Sabbath there and you cannot (Go and compare Gen 2:1-3 with Ex 20:8-11). The Sabbath is not a burden it’s a delight you should try it. It’s a time to ride on the high places of the earth with Jesus who is the creator of the 7th Day Sabbath or the Lord’s Day (Isa 58:13-14, Mark 2:27-28)The fact that you are blind to the fact that Genesis chapter 2 has nothing to do with Sabbath-keeping is your burden - not mine. Neither you nor beta can provide any proof that Genesis chapter 2 presents a command to observing the Sabbath.
Actually Genesis is not needed at all to prove that the Sabbath is still binding on man today. It's just a good place to start because it is were the Sabbath started as part of the finished work of creation and the 7th Day of the creation week (Gen 2:1-3) God's Word clearly shows that the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] Day Sabbath is still a commandment of God today after the fall of mankind. If I can show you that you do not need to talk about the creation week and still show God's 7th Day Sabbath from the Word of God does that mean you will believe God's Word? I am happy to do this if you like just let me know. However even if I do this I know you will not believe it no matter how many scriptures that are posted because you do not believe all of God’s Words just the sections that support what you want to believe. As for me if God say something we must follow him.Unfortunately, you (and those that incorrectly promote Sabbath-keeping) have to find some justification to introduce the Sabbath BEFORE the law was given to Moses. Hence the appeal to Genesis 2:1-2. However, it has nothing to with man, or ANY command to man.

So Jesus was not perfect? Thank you for that little nugget.
Jesus teach us that He is the living word / law / torah.
