If you mean CCCP, that is indeed possible. Nothing new about that. USSR/Russia has been manipulating and controlling the West since the 1930's at least. Hence the stream of lies regarding the Ukraine war.

So the US should go to war against countries that are not perfect? That sounds very arrogant.

The Cold War, the threat of the Red Menace, led Americans and Soviets of the day to fear one another and dread the future was to be one short lived.
First strike protocols embedded in the national defence net of both America and Russia would insure mutual annihilation should one country strike out at the other.
Besides,why should actual war expense be undertaken to divide a people when adversarial propaganda can work freely just as well?
Ukraine is a pawn not a cause. Their "leader" knows this.
There is no option for Russia other than war. The US orchestrating this civil war in Syria is actually very big. Russia wants to replace the US as the policeman in the Mideast, that is essential for BRICS to become a reserve currency. So if the US can humiliate Russia in Syria what is Saudi Arabia gonna think?
Who said anything about America going to war because they are not perfect? The reason America and the UK should defend Ukraine is because they made certain commitments in turn for Ukraine virtually disarming. At the time of independence, Ukraine had the third largest nuclear arsenal in the world. If America had minded its own business, we would not be having this conversation. Bill Clinton has said publicly that he regrets pushing Ukraine to give up its offensive weapons. It's a bit late now.
America has gone to war for many reasons with many countries. It's left a big mess in many of those countries. The military knows how to fight but politicians don't know how to manage the peace.
What commitments did we make? I was not aware of any treaty or alliance with Ukraine. On the contrary I thought we made a treaty with Russia saying we would not make a treaty with Ukraine.
Trump threatening 100% tariffs on the BRICS nations is an act of desperation.
He isn't even President yet. He is signaling that the situation is so dire he cannot afford to wait until January 20th and that the current regime is so weak or feckless they will not do anything.

It is an empty threat, instead of putting fear into the nations it is telling them they must act now before January 20th.

Nah it's not an empty threat. America will not be their sucker any longer. What did you think Trump was going to help our enemies rip America off and run amok with impunity as they have done these past four years under the democrats? Trump is going to make these foul nations FAFO, may all the world's wicked powers shake and tremble as America gets strong again and remember to praise Jesus.
Nah Russia has an option to take their one and only out and come to the peace negotiations. Both Putin and Zelensky have indicated that this is likely to happen. Putin's latest threats aren't bluffing per se, but he has to project strength to his own boyars, it is dangerous for a Tsar of Russia to appear weak to his own people especially after causing them so much hardship in a war that he started and which has brought the whole Russian society and system to the brink of collapse. I cannot imagine Putin wants to end up like Nicholas when his war is over.
I think those in his circle understand the US dollar is going to collapse. He wants this to happen prior to Jan 20th so that he can lay it all on Biden and so I think his rhetoric is simply trying to accelerate the process.
