I've got an oportunity to go see the rocky picture horror show, has anyone actually seen this, being into trashy cult films this is one Ive thought about watching. However from what I hear from some people is that aside from being a drag show, it's riddled with innuendoes and nudity. Is it like some like it "Some like it Hot level" or is it more like Austin Powers/simpsons level inappropriate?

I went to a showing a long time ago when I was in college. The movie itself was a box-office flop, but it developed a cult following when actors started acting out the parts live in unison with the movie. There are also many places where the audience interacts.

Having said that, I don't recall anything spiritually redeeming in it, but I wasn't saved at the time I viewed it.

Answer: Yes totally inappropriate, given it's risque nature? No I have not seen it. Don't need to. When I pass by a plate of rotten meat, I will not eat it either, even though I have not tasted it.

I heard about it in highschool. It was supposed to be some funny, edgy comedy that the trendy dweebs kept talking about at lunch. So, I finally saw part of it on video, skipping around 2 minutes here and there.
It was boring, stupid, queer and even the soundtrack was awful. It used to be advertised monthly by a local theater. The queer bar requested it for their regular gathering of LGPEDOS+. They'd hang their sick posters up on the grocery store bulletin boards and around campus. They'd feature some freak with a little "x" over the privates. I'd tear them all down and toss them in the garbage as I walked by. Always use a disposable item for removal to keep the AIDS germs off the hands.

Go ahead kids and tell me how unloving I was.

yeah I've heard it, on the other hand some people say it's not really that bad and was more or less making fun of them(like a mel brooks parody), I'm basically asking if anyone who's seen it can confirm or deny.

I have never seen it, but I have heard of it of course. Frankly speaking I've always heard it's incredibly faggy and I did notice in highschool days that all the slutty girls and fags basically liked it. I would say avoid it and them too then seeing as that is what I myself did.

I have actually heard some people try to justify that, "hatewatchers" basically, my mom does that particularly with the smutty shows, but then that is just more proof it is effeminate and therefore evil. If you've seen it whatever, just don't make it a habit, but your life surely will be richer not seeing it than seeing it. Sounds from all I ever heard like watching paint dry for hours would be better, and I have actually done that one and would choose to do it again than ever see such a movie.

If it's playing at a theater, this is the time you need to be concerned about a guy sitting next to you and putting his hand on your.. shoulder. I taught classes on how to deal with that, but the best thing is that ounce of prevention. I'm not judging you for asking your questions. I'm just reporting what I noticed. It has a following. I heard that it's treated as a drag show where they get on stage and quote the lines along with the movie. The rest I don't want to know.

I personally wouldn't go see it, nor would I recommend any Christian watch it.

If you think softcore porn is appropriate entertainment; if you think gender bending is appropriate; if you think homosexuality is appropriate; then sure, go ahead and watch it. People who justify this kind of thing are just looking for an excuse to indulge their lusts. Go ahead and try to watch it; if you aren't repulsed as a Christian and have to turn it off you should seriously check your spiritual condition.

Out of curiosity (from hearing about it so much), I watched it years ago. I was repulsed "in a big way" - and, I don't recommend anyone watch it.

It's a musical... maybe closer to the labyrinth if you need something similar. Weird and creepy. Kinda interesting though.

I watched it in high school which...wth were my parents thinking? 😆 I liked the songs, but thought it was kinda weird. I had 2 friends obsessed with it and they are actually lesbians now. So... idk 🤷‍♀️
