Yes they were attaining righteousness ACCORDING to the flesh by purifying the outward man but they couldn’t purify the Inward man that GOD really wanted,only JESUS was able to fulfill the law perfectly the way that FATHER GOD would accept.

When the LORD comes back,all will be raised up,some to eternal damnation others to eternal life.You are right about there being no sin that will keep those that he died for from going to heaven. The thing that you are mistaken on is that Jesus did not die for the entire world, because all that he did die for he will raise them up at the last day and there are too many scriptures that say that all will not go to heaven.

Yes, man’s soul was attached to his flesh. Through the circumcision of the new birth, the soul is cut away from the flesh and made a new creature in Christ.

Who? The one who the lord calls. But not even all of them will come to faith.And who is it that sees the Son and believes in him? Not the natural man as described in 1 Cor 2:14 who cannot discern the things of the Spirit. Only those who have ears to hear. I know my sheep, they hear my voice and I call them by name. Those who are not born again are not his sheep. He said, "if they have not the Spirit, they are none of his". The same believers in John 3:16. Only the regenerated hear and believe the things of the Spirit.

That is right and Paul was instructed to go and preach to the lost sheep (children of God) of the house of Israel. Jacob is representative of God's elect family. God changed Jacob's name to be called Israel in Gen 32:28. Most of the time from that time on when Israel is referred to it is talking about Jacob and God's elect family. The bible was written by inspiration as instructions for God's elect family as to how God wants them to live their lives as they sojourn here in this world. That is why he instructs his preachers to spread the good news of the gospel to the lost (lost to the knowledge of the truth) sheep(God's children) of the household of Israel (kingdom of God's elect) informing them to deny themselves from going about to establish their own righteousness and come unto a knowledge of the truth seeking God's righteousness and obeying his commandments. God's elect children can be delivered from the effects ( lost fellowship with God) each time that they repent from breaking God's commandments. They never lose their eternal salvation even though they lose their fellowship with God until they repent under the chastening rod of God. The chastening by God on his children is a form of love, just as it is when our natural father chastens us. God does not chasten those that he does not love (Psalms 73:5 - They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they PLAGUED = divinely punished, Greek interpretation). Eph 2:5, Spiritually dead men have no ability to receive the gift of eternal life because they cannot discern the things of the Spirit (`1 Cor 2:14).This is ony true if God forced his salvation on everyone. God will nto do this. So he could die for all. And all still not make it.
When you purchase gifts for people. It does nto mean they HAVE to recieve them. If they reject them, it does ot mean you did not purchase that gift for them.

You are making yourself to be your own savor by having to entrust your life to God. You were regenerated, not by entrusting your life to God, because you were spiritually dead in sins when you were regenerated by God (Eph 2:5). Your belief is a "salvation by works belief".We are. So try to stick to context.
The ONLY reason they would have failed to be granted eternal life. Was if Christ failed.
They had eternal life the moment they entrusted their lives to God just like we do. The only difference is, Christs work is done for us, it was still future for them.

Yep he did,Jesus Christ made us just (Gal 2:16).
But he still did not make you alive as long as you were under the penalty of sin, justification had to occure first.

They didn't keep the law with their own strength. Who do you think gave them the law. It was Jesus Christ. It was with the strength of Jesus Christ that they were able to keep the law and they were considered blameless in the sight of the Lord. That means that because they kept the law, when Jesus was crucified and brought about the atonement, they were swept up in that saving process and were saved, even though they lived their entire lives under the law.The law could never take away sin. One could attain righteousness under the law, but it was self righteousness before God through believing God and obeying His word. Christ ended the law for righteousness sake. God’s righteousness is found through Jesus Christ.
The righteousness under the law by keeping the ordinances, provided safety from God’s wrath upon death until God’s righteousness showed up in the man Christ Jesus.
