I read yesterday some do not people in OSAS. I posted you can not earn your salvation. Jesus paid our sin debt on the cross past, present, and future.
You are really determined to argue about this across multiple threads...

I am not arguing I am just making a statement that there are those who don't believe in OSAS.
There sure are.

God's grace is a wonderful thing, but people can still choose to walk away from it.

"Well that just means they weren't really saved to begin with" is the usual osas reply. That is a weak cop out, a rationalization not even worth debating.

And yet that is what Scripture says.

My brother used to be more of a Christian than I will ever be. But then he found something he wanted that disagreed with what he believed. He changed what he believed so he could get what he wanted.

I know a lot of other people who have done the same thing. I know many people that you cannot tell me were not saved at one time. Some of them prayed with me at the altar when I was a new christian. But eventually they chose to walk away.

Also if osas is true, then there really is no hope for the prodigal son. Unless we suddenly change our minds again and say he really was saved all along. But then you have to believe he was saved when he was out in the world doing ungodly things.

Alas I have broken my vow to not debate this topic for the 7,419th time on this forum.

Fortunately my lunch break is at an end. Goodbye.
