Does anyone force people to join the American military? There is no longer conscription. How about the tens of thousands of Iranians being butchered by their own government. Or the murderous puppet military forces of Hamas, Houthi and Hezbollah, funded, armed and trained by Iran.
"Young men die for nothing." Yes, and so do the old and children and students of Israel, Gaza, Lebanon and other Muslim hell holes. Either Iran is stopped or Iran will develop a nuke and they will use it. They will first attack Israel then the rest of the world. You are naive to say the least.
World War 3 has been under way since the 1970's when the Muslim nations realised how much power their oil resources gave them. Do you not know the Muslim war declaration? "First the Saturday people, then the Sunday people". Iran constantly declares death to Israel and death to America. If you think that they are not serious, check out their military. It is not a local defence force. It can strike Israel and is developing missiles to attack pretty much anywhere.
I'm ex military. I volunteered. Vietnam was well underway but I was Navy and spent only a week in the war zone. However, I'm old enough to know that you won't end Muslim violence by sitting around the campfire singing "Kumbyah".
Mr Trump expressed surprise that the massed armed forces have not caused Iran to capitulate. And that is exactly why American policy in the Middle East is a failure. Americans still don't get it. I don't know why for sure, but Americans seem to think that the whole world wants to be just like America. By now, it should be obvious that Americans are kidding themselves. Islam is opposed to everything that the West stands for, including the shreds of Christianity that are left.

sometimes they do that multiple times before an actual attack happens...
It's okay he just doesn't understand our tech and talent disparity is so vast it's literally Star Wars versus molding 1970s rubbish (ironically much of which is actually originally made by US actually and they stole from the Shah) when their dark wizard shia-esque cult first seized the state. It's fair to not want even low casualties, we're aiming for no American casualties with a large amount of coverage to ensure that. Can't promise nothing for the cult though. They have the chance to surrender still, imo unfortunately Trump has stalled still, Trump has been talking about having one more round of talks attempts Thursday, so we'll see I guess but I think he should just strike them. No need to dig around too long for a casus belli, they already massacred 30,000 people right here in the 21st century and they should've been dealt with already just for that even if it was just a minor show of force strike to show this won't be tolerated (ie: similar to Yugoslavia in 90s which actually had a fraction of this massacre's death toll.). The protests in Iran are heating up again, it's basically last call for the regime of pagan wizards, they can surrender to US Thursday, they can hop on Russia's planes and boats and get out right now, or they can play Tomahawk dodgeball and gamble with their lives. They have a generous array of options before them, but limited time. Iran will be free, praise Jesus..

I hope you are right. It is reported that Mr Trump will be guided by Jared Kushner and Steve - the Russian agent - Witkoff. I have zero confidence in either of them. Thank God for God. He gets the last word.
I like your sentiment but I disagree about your assessment of Witkoff, he has been a historically great diplomat both for his depth of knowledge but also he's been covering a lot to be honest he pulls a lot of weight, and he also pulls above his weight too, this is a guy who puts in a lot of work and doesn't get the limelight so often or credit for it. He's working as a diplomat, though Russia sucks and is evil, Witkoff's capacity is a diplomat it's fair for him to try these high risk talks and he has done very key and big things along with Jared Kushner for the Middle East both Israel which I know you are partial to, but even honestly the whole region and a lot of the big summits and talks and issues from last year. In my opinion Witkoff just wears too many hats be a fairer critique of him, he's brilliant but perhaps it be sage to focus him more in MidEast in a more organic way as the 2nd Trump Admin settles in now to year 2, and the MidEast has been genuinely apolitically where his results been more positive, and form a new team around Ukraine. Though I suppose we are digressing a bit so I'll just leave my thoughts there.
A diplomat does not take sides in a dispute. All Mr Witkoff has done is side with Russia, repeating Russian propaganda and slandering Mr Zelensky. The truth is out there. Mr Witkoff deliberately ignores it. He may as well be Putin's puppet. Mr Witkoff is of Russian descent. You think he would know better.
The present administration would cheerfully hand Ukraine over to Russia. This is in spite of two security guarantees that America has not honoured. Bill Clinton said that coercing Ukraine into giving up its nukes was a terrible decision. I agree. If Ukraine still had nukes, we would not be having this conversation.
Heavily disagree, The current administration has given Ukraine tons of aid without just letting them rip US off. Ukraine I feel for them but hey they're technically not part of NATO. Trump , albeit kinda begrudgingly, forgave them swindling Biden for a trillion bucks basically while USA was in the midst of a crises economy. We have kept our end of the terms agreed to in the 90s we have paid well over the value of their nukes to defend them. We still continue to help too, but now it is just a normal unilateral agreement simply put.
At any rate, though the Russians are stubborn as idolators, to this topic, as I've said before months ago, you know getting rid of the regime in Iran has side benefits applicable to other news topics like the Ukraine War. Consider that though most of Russia's own arsenal is trash that it's Iran which supplies Russia with one of their actual most effective weapons the shahed drone (again unironically made using design of a drone they stole from US during Obama's era). The Russian spies on Telegram are extra triggered lately because they know losing one of their best weapons of war means their war in Ukraine is going to end soon one way or the other and it's not going to be them taking Kiev in three days that is most certain.

From what I've read, Russia doesn't buy shaheds from Iran anymore. They make their own and are into their 3 or 4th version, with the latest having jet engines.
I'll give them a lil credit, Russia's show of force and pathetic lies against America and even worse pathetically lying about the massacre by their boys is genius, not morally but to basically hype the regime up to then sell them a bunch of crap.. They scammed the regime out of 600 million bucks for shoulder rocket launchers that frankly won't even make it in time to be used (not that they woud work anyways.) Classic Russian fraudsters.

Ukraine is wiping the floor with Russia. Russia is near bankrupt, is running out of soldiers, military hardware and ideas. It's leadership is mired in WW2 tactics. Ukraine is progressively destroying Russia's munitions factories and refineries. America wants Europe to step up. That's happening. Ukraine is now an exporter of home developed weapons.
Since Putin's illegal and immoral invasion, two nations have joined NATO. They were neutral up until that point. Well done Vlad. The thing he feared has come upon him. Credit to Mr Trump and Vlad, Europe has been forced to rearm. Ukraine has used Russia's own tactics. That is to allow the enemy into territory for a bit of distance. Enemy supply lines get stretched, communications gets harder and the enemy is much easier to hit. Russia did that to Germany in WW2.
Russian soldiers don't see it as theater. Ukraine hunts them down with unmanned ground vehicles. America gave up on the idea. Ukraine has little choice. It's amazing what desperation can do. It's a terrible development, but Russia brought this on herself, or rather, Putin did. And Putin has to keep fighting. He has 200,000 soldiers fighting. If the war stops, they will have to find jobs in a smashed economy. Russia was doing fine. All Putin had to do was enjoy his life of luxury and die. Now all his delusions have been shattered. He is paranoid about his safety and he worries about his "friends" as much as his enemies.
