As Trump smoothes things over with the EU over Greenland, he also makes some interesting remarks at the WEF meeting indicating the American commitment to uphold morality and deal with the cult in Iran and their pretty serious and egregious human rights abuses and threats to do more. Guess we'll give CBN the nod both as the mainstream Christian news network in USA and also one of the few mainstream news outlets actually doing a good job covering this. The Judgement of God on Iran
Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.
Damascus is in Syria, but this provides the context for this prophecy about Iran, it happens after the leader of Syria flees, which happened last year.
24 Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail.
In the New testament we see that Damascus is where Paul was first saved and the references to Damascus appear to refer to the Bride of Christ in a figure. This verse tells us this takes place as the church is in travail to bring forth the Man child, a picture of the rapture.
25 How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy! 26 Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the Lord of hosts.
Yes, Damascus will fall, but this is also referring to the apostasy in a figure.
27 And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall consume the palaces of Benhadad.
In Isaiah 17 we see a similarity between Damascus becoming a ruinous heap and Methuselah dying at the time Noah and his family enters the ark seven days before the flood.
So then the context is we are very close to the rapture, very close to the judgment on the apostasy, and at the same time Damascus will become a ruinous heap.

I believe that Donald Trump is a modern equivalent of Nebuchadrezzar and that the US is the great Babylon. Right now Iran has been taken over by Islamic extremists, Ishmaelites, who are also Arabians. They are not Persians.
31 Arise, get you up unto the wealthy nation, that dwelleth without care, saith the Lord, which have neither gates nor bars, which dwell alone.
We have seen this as well. Ezekiel 38 refers to this place as well and I believe this refers to the US. We dwell without care of being invaded unlike all the nations in the Middle East. We don't have bars and gates on our homes, unlike pretty much the rest of the world. And we dwell alone, in our own continent, separate from Europe, the Middle East, and the Far East. Also, as a nation we are seen as "the wealthy nation".
32 And their camels shall be a booty, and the multitude of their cattle a spoil: and I will scatter into all winds them that are in the utmost corners; and I will bring their calamity from all sides thereof, saith the Lord.
We are a nation filled with cars and filled with cattle. There are few nations that can compete with the US in both of these two areas. The US has received 20 million illegal aliens during Biden's administration and our intelligence indicates a good many of these are military men infiltrating the country to spoil it. What is happening in Minnesota with the Somalis is simply pulling the curtain back on this.
33 And Hazor shall be a dwelling for dragons, and a desolation for ever: there shall no man abide there, nor any son of man dwell in it.

Keeping up with CBN who has done a really great job covering this actually, mindful that CBN is normally the mainstream religious channel in the USA. They have done remarkable journalism here where much of the mainstream media outlets has suspiciously failed. CBN speculates on the tantalizing idea of capturing Khamenei alive which while it is in theory a bettermove potentially to have him alive, and some might argue more Christian idea, we are compelled by the Christian verity to judge it to be too high of a risk. Also there have been claims to complete and absolute hyperinflation as the Iranian banks are now bankrupt.
