Bahrainis are out in the streets cheering Iran's strikes against US bases in Bahrain, so it wouldn't surprise me a bit if the Iranians know within minutes through hotel informants when a US military commander has entered his hotel room.

Iran appears to be hitting US bases pretty much at will. Just saw a video shot by US soldiers at the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar firing 3 Patriot missiles ($4-7 million each) at an incoming ballistic missile and missing. It impacted maybe 1/4 mile away from them. The US won't be able to keep this up for long because they don't have that many missiles

It has been well documented the USA does not have enough ammunition (which old tech) for a protracted war... all Iran has to do is survive and most likely it will.
