Sorry for keeping this brief and blunt.

My question is, should I report (school) cheating?

I’m sure this is very vague, but feel free to ask questions.

If this is simply a case of someone cheating to achieve better grades, leave it alone. You aren't the moral police. Pray for the cheaters, that God would expose them and use it to glorify Himself. Then, leave it to Him to sort out how and when.

Reporting the minor offenses of others will only make you a pariah, because nobody likes a 'snitch'. If someone is in physical danger, or there is a crime being committed, then report it, but only to the appropriate authorities.

If you think it's a real problem, you could advise the school anonymously without naming names. Cheating can hurt others, that's for sure. However, you don't want to make life impossible for yourself either. Maybe you could confront the cheater and warn them that they will be found out. Don't make a big deal of it. People cheat for all kinds of reasons, not always what you imagine.

I think Biden's presidency is practical demonstration that cheating now has full protection of the law.

I mean, what's the teacher going to say? "Look Twistii, I know cheating might be bad, but if it's good enough for Joe Biden and 81 million Americans, you're going to have to learn to live with it."

I saw a sign in my school bathroom today and it showed actions students should report, and “academic cheating” was on it.

It didn’t seem like a “thou shalt do this” kind of deal, but rather, like one of those don’t do drugs, or make sure to eat your vegetables, or make sure to stay in school, type of signs, if that makes sense.

I’m not sure how serious my school or school system is about academic cheating though tbh.

I’m curious if this would change any obligation I have to report cheating.
