I agree. Having been raised in the Roman Catholic church, I recall them chanting hail Mary's numerous times over and over again prior to the beginning of the Mass. It was certainly vain and repetitious in my opinion.

What do you think about the Muslim's call to prayer chant? Is that talking to God or talking to followers? Is their Allah the same God of Abraham as they claim?
Amen! The people who complain about repetition in songs and say its used to incite emotional states and trances are in for a rude awakening in heaven where "Holy, Holy, Holy!" is repeated on and on.

With apologies to any Buddhist friends, I believe our Lord was telling us not to repetitively chant when in prayer. Our Heavenly Father always hears, just talk to Him. Respectfully, I might add.
Its the manner of prayer that is warned against. Not the repetitions. The Lord desires we cry out continuously without ceasing. . His will be done on earth as it is loosed from heaven .

Allah is not Jehovah God. Allah is an Egyptian moon goddess. Muslims do not worship God who is God. To them Jesus is a great prophet just like Mohammed.
