When I hear experts and pundits talk about how the courts or politicians will rule on an issue, I say it will go the way these powers want it to go. The courts and politicians are not in charge. They are the pawns of higher powers. when they talk about how the politicians or courts would not cut Social Security, Medicare or food stamps, it's not in their hands. GOD will decide that. If GOD wants to bring down a country, he can cut off their economy and there's nothing anyone can do. The courts and politicians will make stupid decisions and the higher powers will tell them to do it.

There has been a steady decline in the Western world since at least the 1960's. Britain never really recovered from WW2. But it's far worse now than the country I left in 1964. America has steadily gone downhill since the 60's. God never honours rebellion. The church could, and should have stopped the rot (since we are "salt", a preservative), but we have failed. Australia is no better, but has not as far to fall because it was not spiritually at the same level. Even so, we also have gone downhill since the 1970's.

Yes, God has the final say. We who are born again can intercede for our nations. We need to get our own house in order before God will respond. (2 Chronicles 7:14) There are signs in America of revival. That is wonderful, but will anything substantially change?

Yes, we should all realize that War has a silver lining, and by that I mean there are those who get rich and powerful over war. The whole world lies in the Evil one, he can manipulate them into a war that serves his purposes.

For example,

If the world leaders are centered in Europe they can manipulate the US, Russia and China into a war that will destroy each other, leaving Europe standing atop the heap of collapse.

When you look at the carnage, destruction, and loss of life remember that for those who are sociopaths this is simply the cost of doing business and what they see is the ability to buy up assets at a tiny fraction of the cost and to make people willing to give them absolute power in exchange for peace.

Because of the Bible telling us about what is going to happen and since there are billions of Bibles around the world you need a very dire situation to get the whole world to agree to the Mark of the Beast.
