Hello,
Yesterday I woke up with this excruciating in my leg. Well, this is not the first time it is happening; since the lockdown, it happens every day.
I have pain in my right leg, but if you asked me to point to where exactly, I'd have a difficult time choosing a spot because it just generally aches everywhere. I wouldn't usually post here, but my physiotherapy session in Etobicoke got cancelled after lockdown, and now I all by myself. The further my knee is bent, the graver this pain is. I usually don't get any pain while riding my bike, or while accomplishing any other routine activity like walking. When I go for my physio, they give me some typical exercises to complete, including clamshells (with resistance band) on my left side, along with that I am following some other online courses too. They had examined and found that this is an overuse injury. I am still doing my physio online every day; however, my leg has become sore, my upper leg and quads hurt like hell. Is there any natural medicine that I can follow or any diet that I can follow so that it won't hurt this much. Have any of you had similar experiences?
I feel like God is punishing me somehow. Can anyone advise? Thanks for the help!

Hey Jonas, I would google foods that help alleviate and prevent inflammation. Tumeric is one, but there are many. Make sure you are drinking lots of water and stretching. I also believe medical and therapeutic massage might help. I will lift you in prayer.

Turmeric
Tart cherries
Honey
Maple Syrup

These are all anti-inflammatories. :)

Take some ibuprofen, it's also an anti-inflammatory..

God isn't punishing you. Stop doing your physio for a few days, and see if the pain lessens..

God doesn't punish His children. Jesus healed people while He was here, and accomplished healing for us to partake of in the here and now.

It could be a pinched nerve in your leg that is further aggravated by the bending of the knee. The condition can be further aggravated by unnatural movement of your leg to compensate for the pain. I had something similar in my arm, very bad pain. Took a lot of aspirin and just lived with it for a couple weeks until the pain went away.

Hopefully, by this time the pain has abated and your leg is in the process of healing. If God is punishing you for something the punishment is minor. Fortunately, God is slow to anger and quick to extend His mercy and compassion.

Glad to have you as part of our community. Welcome to CC.

Hi...
I had frozen shoulder , not the same as your injury , but nevertheless the pain was awful...
So I bought some natural body heat rub and would cover my shoulder in that , it did not heal it but it made my pain ease a lot...

Turmeric is a wonderful root to take , it sounds like you may need to take antiflam tabs , just to settle the area around your injury , but only take them for a short time , and if you can , take a hot bath with Epsom salts , some say take a cold bath , but a really hot bath has always helped me when I have inflamation in my body...
...xox...

B6 is good for reducing swelling, and magnesium along with calcium is often suggested for muscular issues :)
