k. I prefer "purer" metal. I hear enough hiphop from my neighbors :p
 
If I were to committ adultery and quote Scripture while I was committing the act. Would that make it ok? Because hey, there's good words involved.
 
what does that have to do with anything?
where in the bible does it say music with drums and el guitars are sin? coz that's what metal is... not ALL metal is screming and dark vocals, believe it or not

Its not so much the instruments itself as the way they are played. Just like its not the letters of a word that are spoken, but the words that those letters form. Satan can corrupt words there is no doubt about that, but to say that he can't corrupt the very thing that he specializes in (music) is flat out insaine read Ezekeil 28:13
 
of course it can be misused,(like all other things) but that don't make ALL Christian metal bad

praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. now I see the modern version of that as metal :)

So what exactly makes you think that a certain style of music is "evil"?

Aside from your personal bias (everyone has it), what makes "metal" evil and corrupted by the devil while classical pieces are not? Why is one style of music wrong and another right? It's relativity. A person from ancient Israel would probably see classical music much in the same way you might view metal.
