VArob,

are you saying Paul is claiming, this is TWO GODS, waiting to APPEAR?

13 waiting for ... the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us

VARob,

you believe in the Second Coming?
Absolutely.

where does it show 2 Gods coming at the Second Coming?
There is only one God, the Father. Jesus said so (John 17:3). So did Paul (1 Cor 8:6).

Paul says the God Coming is our GREAT GOD and SAVIOR JESUS.

is Jesus the One doing the Second Coming or Great God and Jesus?

Another translation:
while we wait for the blessed hope and appearing of our great God and Savior’s glory—Jesus Christ,

Absolutely.

Another translation:

let's use this translation then:

is this TWO GODS or ONE who is APPEARING?

That's your understanding.
Where is that in the Bible?

That is the understanding of orthodox Christianity and the very essence of the Gospel.
I will be back ( have work to do) and you will believe!!!:p

let's use this translation then:

is this TWO GODS or ONE who is APPEARING?
Jesus Christ will be appearing. Follow along:

13 while we wait for the blessed hope and appearing of our great God and Savior’s glory—Jesus Christ,
14 who gave himself up for us in order to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for himself a special people, zealous for good works.

Jesus Christ gave himself up for us, God didn't.

So God the Father AND His Son Jesus are coming together? Right?

I just want to be clear

Or do some people believe only Jesus will appear without God. That might be a bit weird

That is the understanding of orthodox Christianity
I am aware that became the understanding of Orthodox Christianity.

and the very essence of the Gospel.
1 Cor 15:
1 Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand,
2 and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you--unless you believed in vain.
3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures,
4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures,

That ^^^ is the essence of the Gospel.

I will be back ( have work to do) and you will believe!!!:p
okie dokie. :)

that when Jesus stands in front of the Mirror, He reflects the Father, and you and i reflect, Adam
I don't see what this means or what it proves.

If believers are in the fathers hands, then they are one, whether they see Adam or not they Still Jesus.

The father and Jesus will also see whatever reflection we see of Adam since we are in hands.

So God the Father AND His Son Jesus are coming together? Right?

I just want to be clear

Or do some people believe only Jesus will appear without God. That might be a bit weird
At the end of the trib, Jesus Christ will be returning (Rev 19:11ff).
After the millennial kingdom in the new heaven and earth, God Himself will live with us (Rev 21:3).

Can you say which translation you are both using. Thanks.

I just be interested if you both come to the same conclusion when you both use the same translation.....
