I am having deja view right now.

um...
what metal artists/bands do yall reccomend?

Finally a Christian who enjoys metal!!!!

Okay so, my husband is the metal listener, but I secretly really enjoy it...

Or not so secretly when im headbanging to the sound of epic guitar solos or the sound of a very skilled drummer! I love metal...

Anyway! A song I like is: Lowborn by Wolf's at the Gate

Oh also for non Christian heavy-rock, this is like a strangly inspiring song: Echo by Starset

Reminds me of how God calls us. I dont doubt God is trying to reach him.

Whiteheart is good.

Early Kutless albums are good.

Sent by Ravens is good.

Paige Armstrong is good. Pity she only made one album.

This thread is good.

It was started by an argumentative twerp who wound up getting banned, but it's still a good source for anybody looking for metal. If you see anything in there that subhumanoidal recommended, check it.

thanks for the rec.

I feel compelled to post because I'm seeing a lot of generic hard rock and metalcore (not that I don't like metalcore, but let's be honest. It's basic).

Just a few of my favorites right now that are somewhat newish:
Brotality (Thrash)
Symphony of Heaven (Blackened Death, latest album is somewhat melodic)
Jonava (Black Metal)
Divine Incision (Brutal Death Metal)
Testimony of the Apocolypse (Thrash/Groove metal)
Burial Extraction (Old School Death Metal)
Mangled Carpenter (Grindcore)

Also into the more classic or well known ones. Living Sacrifice, Drottnar, Crimson Moonlight, Crimson Thorn, Krig, Tourniquet, Saint, the list goes on and on. Making a note on my name because so many people throw zao in when recommending Christian bands, they're not Christian by any means (only one Christian member), even though the members still have a lot of respect for their Christian fans, they've all been open about how they're not Christians (minus the one mentioned), and just looking at their song lyrics, they've never really had an Christian related songs since Where Blood and Fire Bring Rest.

Impending doom. Go to Pandora and click the option for related songs too. Mouth of the lion room. I'm a Christian death metal head and rock out on my ebike or my weights all the time man. Google Christian death metal bands. The variety is sick. Enjoy
