Hesitation - I did not realize scruples always (in Google) has a negative association - I have not thought of it that way. I always thought it meant the same as morals (which it does come up as a synonym - and vice versa).

My connection was ..you can't have scruples unless you are principled..but then again my thought processes aren't always kosher. lol
