Back by popular (or unpopular) demand, this is a new thread. Yeah!!!

O.k., don't get to excited, you don't want to lose your cool.

Alrighty than....

So..............

What are you done with?

You know, something that you no longer interested in.

I'll go first, since the thread was started by me. Makes sense really. I don't think anyone else was in line or anything. Any objections?

So, recently I went to a vegan diet, and can honestly say, it was a good decision for me. With that said, I'm officially done with steak. So, putting a fork in it.

A certain person at w*rk is always proclaiming she is done with whatever situation she is having to handle at the moment. A few nights ago I remarked that she is done so often she is now over done. Everybody else thought it was hilarious but she did not seem to find it amusing at all...

I'm just done with living this sick, cruel joke that is my life. I often wonder why I'm still alive. Or why I'm alive at all. I'm not suicidal or anything. But I have realized that my life has no worth or value. I've realized that I myself have no worth or value. The only reason for me to keep going is because I'm scared of death. So there you have it.

First reply automatically gets a trophy. Does she say, "really" a lot?

Do you have any hobbies or any passions? What interests you? Everyone is very valuable wether you know it or not. Did not Jesus die for you and all of us? So your worth saving. We all worth saving? What motivates you? Do you have balance in your life? What makes you tick?

Who or what is the ultimate determinant of if a life has worth or value? What's happened that has got you so down and that you think no good or value could yet come from your life? And why do you think that such an assessment of yourself is just, honest, and realisitc?

"We speak of comfort and security as necessities for a happy life. The only thing needed to be truly happy, is something to be enthusiastic about."

Going_Nowhere if you don't have anything in life to be enthusiastic about, it can be a really bleak life. Entertainment can't help. Food can't help. Good friends and an awesome family can't help.

Do you have something to be enthusiastic about? If not, can you find something?

Costco has some good deals on steak, if your interested. I just gave away all my frozen chicken and meatballs to my cousin on Friday, you missed the free give away by two days. Cost savings and health benefits were the two major reasons for me going vegan.

That post was funny, thanks for the laugh.

I'm done with people saying they are Christian and yet being unable to discuss with civility. Words become attack missiles. Different opinions should be able to be offered without it being seen as a personal challenge. I know Lynx is laughing right now. :)
People need to feel safe to share. Even if you don't agree with their comments, they need a way to explore ideas. No matter where someone is at in their faith journey, to have people be ugly and attacking, won't help them.
I understand that sometimes people say something bullying and objectionable towards others and a gentle rebuke might be needed, but it still needs to be delivered with grace.
OK, I have stepped off of the soap box, and it is someone else's turn.

Hey, you are welcome!
And thanks for the Costco tip. I actually, am not going vegan (keeping my meat incase anybody pipes up here😄), but I am working on taking in like 50-70 % or so veggies. I know plants have protien too, but I want to make sure to take in enough for the gym. Peanuts and protien in smoothie too....ok, typing all t hi is out, technically I probably could just go with out meat🤔....na. lol

Glad your increasing your vegetable in take, your body will thank you with improved health I'm sure. Everyone's different and have different needs, so whatever you think is best for your health sounds good.

Hmm I cant think of anything I'm done with, even though its very popular thing to do.
What If I loudly proclaimed I had kissed dating goodbye and then got called the next day for a date.
I tried to do that with the dentist, to never see them again and get excavavated and to be their mortgage repayment gravy train and just the last hour they tried to ring me and 'remind' me to set up another date with them.

arrrgh. Why dont they ever do deals like buy one expensive filling, get the other one free?
