OK, so now you're saying Gods Word has nothing to teach us.

My bible teaches that I must live by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God. My bible teaches and instructs me in every area of life. You ignore that fact at your own peril.
You are not able to comprehend what you have yet to learn.
You can not yet understand every word, let alone many things that the Bible contains.

But, you keep claiming you now know all that you need to know.
It does not work that way.

When you were in first grade you needed to learn many things for years that eventually allowed for you to learn in high school.
Christianity is no different in regards to maturing in Christ.

It appears you want to comfort your ego by attacking what you can not yet understand....
I have no time for that.

You still don't seem to get what I'm saying. I am not saved because I believe. I am saved because the benchmark God set was to save believers. I could sit here and believe God's word is true till the cows come home, but if it was not His will to save those who are believing, then I would sit here forever unsaved.

So you can stop putting me to the test as if you have some right to evaluate my salvation, because you don't.
Self righteousness does not agree with you.

Are you saying/admitting that your teachers prophesy and cast out demons?

‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do
many mighty works in your name?’

The gift of prophecy ended.
All the gifts of the Apostles were uniquely given to them, so they had the ability to cast out demons and perform miracles. But they are still fellow believers, equal in value to any other believer of our time.

Today, God still performs miracles through His children's prayers. But we don't have the gift of performing miracles like Judas Iscariot, had. He had it in him but we ask God to perform them these days so they are done by Him.

Those who come to Jesus on that day will be people who lived in every age of time. Right from the beginning to the end of time.

God has used my Minister to deliver people from evil spirits, my Minister was a vessel God used o save the person but the deliverance and salvation were all of God

It's evident that you didn't put you thinking cap on before you shot me from the hip.

Christ never appeared to Paul for a start. Paul only heard a voice but he never saw anyone.
Paul saw a great light from heaven so bright it blinded him. Jesus is the light of the world. I know of others who have testified to seeing the Risen Christ. Just because he doesn't appear in the same manner as His pre-Ascension appearances doesn't mean He has not appeared. In fact, seeing as He got a glorified body at the Ascension, it makes sense He would not be seen the same way.

It appears you are happy to call them liars, drunkards or fools without any evidence.

You need to find a good pastor teacher...

That's all the enlightenment you need.
I'm already led by a highly qualified Shepherd. He knows more than all of us put together, so I'm not a seeker.

I was on my third set of Ludwigs when I quit the music business -
I knew people who died way before their time....

You can not follow my thinking. That's all you are telling me.
That's right, it's not something one can follow. One can only be a passenger on this journey. Jesus is the driver, so it's by invite only

Jesus warned about evil spirits appearing as Angels of light, so I believe the apparitions people claim to have seen are, Demonic Spirits posing as Angels of light.

The body of Jesus is the same today as it was when He ascended to heaven. He still has the nail holes in His hands and feet. He received His glorified body when He rose from the dead. He has been seated at His Fathers right side, interceding in His physical body, on behalf of His elect

Christians don't need to know much, we are just Sheep who follow our Shepherd. He's the one who has to know everything and He's the one who has to give account for us to God.

So I know everything I need to know, to keep me from falling prey to the hungry lion. My Shepherd keeps me safe, he has been appointed by God so he teaches us everything God wants us to know.

they were disciples of John the Baptist.

There were many who said they believed but were not saved.

Joh_3:5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Rom_8:9b Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.
Yes, but they had believed on Jesus Christ before receiving the Holy Spirit.

I can give you as many supporting scriptures as you like, but the problem remains with your interpretation. All scripture must be in harmony with the rest. if any appear to contradict each other, then the problem is with our interpretation and not the scripture.

If you care to know what the two interpretations of the gospel message are, please see the chart I've included below. It's a summary of the two views. It shows why they are opposed and why every Christian hold to one of these two views.

I would love to know what your thoughts are and which side you agree with.

You believe in the View attachment 262892
You have two views posted. Where’s the third option, the biblical view?😂

Pardon me Sir, but which life are you talking about. I hope it's not the one that Christ warned against seeking, when He said "he who seeks his life will lose it"
Obviously I'm talking about the missing link, that many people are missing because its been missed by many 🙂.

John calvin may he rest in peace taught how to.seperate sheep from the goats.

God bless his soul.

The missing link is a good reward if you don't sacrifice the truth today

See if you can slot the missing link

This is genesis 1:27

!when you read this notice, it's before the earthly man was created.

Which means Adam was created in heaven first,..Then if you could also notice God blessed all mankind in this scripture, well What you must ask is why and how could he bless all mankind here, if he's only created one man.

Well the life that he created man with was the life of Jesus. Which means Jesus is your father and every other man .. then all this means the life that was created was to be life of all mankind. 🙂

As if you notice he blessed all mankind here

Gen 1:27

27 So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

So now we come to the earthly man being created 🙂

Now notice this is in genesis 2:7 not genesis 1:27

Genesis 2:7
Then the Lord God formed a man[c] from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

Well what life breathed in to Adam

Well it must of been the life he had already created in heaven 🙂

And it must of been the like of all mankind his life, the life of Jesus

As I'm genesis 1:27 Jesus God blessed his life that was to be the life of all mankind in Adam in heaven he bless them

As Jesus said in Genesis 1:27

So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

Then we where told.this

John 1

King James Version

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

So now if we go back to the beginning the light of all, which is also the life of all men was created in Adam 🙂

John Calvin taught those who sacrifice the truth have no truth.

So what he may of taught in tulip is watch how they sacrifice the truth

The philosopher stone 🙂

Obviously is doctrine was aimed at catholics

It is spamming because all you have been doing is cut and pasting without any dialogue regarding the verses you are shown that say different to what you espouse.

John 5:40 Jesus is talking to the religious leaders. It is they he is referring to when He says "you are unwilling", He is not referencing all men.

Rom. 8 deals with the mind governed by the flesh. This is exactly what I and others have tried to get through to you that you are unwilling to see. God enables the mind to be free of the flesh control to see and respond to the truth according to their own preferences for light or for dark. (Jn.3:20&21) Volition is a function of the soul, not the body. The law of sin (sin nature) is in the flesh. If it was in the soul, no-one could be saved. The soul becomes corrupt, it does not start that way nor does it necessarily desire corruption (Rom.7:15), but the sin in the flesh ensures everyone walks down that path whether they want to or not.

I just showed you Paul was willing to do good without the new birth. You continue to confuse unwilling with unable. Grace enables what man cannot do. God does not make willing, He makes able. If He made willing there would be no division amongst believers. Wake up.
Its not spamming, its the Truth,

Men by nature are unwilling and at enmity against God, will not and cant submit to God. So if a person becomes willing, then thats indicative God has changed them, saved them and given them a new heart

Jn 5 40 shows men naturally aren't will ing to come to Christ, and Rom 8:7-8 shows man naturally isnt able to submit to God and in fact is enmity against God in our minds. Nothing changes this but a new birth. Sorry

Hey Brightfame,
If you look over my last post carefully (post # 6140), I think you'll find I didn't say anything either for or against Calvinism.
I was simply pointing out that Luke 18:13 doesn't act as an evidence, a proof text, for either side.

To make it support either side, we must inject a foregone conclusion (from outside of that passage) and then reason in a circle back to that forgone conclusion.
Whichever side in the debate is correct, Luke 18:13 does not seem to contain the evidence to lead one to either side.

You take care brother.

.
You just dont see what I see because I know what the scripture reveals about the natural man and his depravity. So my foregone conclusion is the depravity of man by nature, we dont seek God, that goes for the fellow in Lk 18:13 as well, you feel me ?

If a car has a dead battery?
Its lifeless and will not operate?
Nothing can work as it should...

Is that entire car "depraved? "

Or, its as good as being totally depraved?
Again:
Men by nature are unwilling and at enmity against God, will not and cant submit to God. So if a person becomes willing, then that's indicative God has changed them, saved them and given them a new heart.

BTW mans heart by nature is totally depraved Jer 17:9

9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
