WW II took 1 out of 3 Jewish people off the earth. The GT will take 2 out of 3 off the earth.

How do us Pre Tribbers and believers know that the Rapture and 2nd coming are two events and not one?

Easy, Jesus said He wont come back until Jerusalem says Blessed be He who comes in the name of the Lor!! Matthew 23:37-39

Look, the Lord is giving you a hint! He says He will come when you least expect it, and post trib crowd expects the rapture to happen least of all possible is pre trib. Interesting.

So you post tribbers can go ahead and sleep but just remember, 5 foolish virgins got locked out of the wedding. Only 5 get in.

Do you think Jesus would get mad at me for staring out the window too soon? In anticipation of Him coming. excitement?!

Seems to me that WWII was at least a sample of Jacob's trouble, and if Hitler misses the description of the Antichrist, he is also at least a sample. If he waws, he's already been thrown into the lake of fire. and that would leave the false prophet to be next... and those that he has oppressed will be experiencing a sort of jubilee, perhaps any day now :unsure: It's been 80 years since the death of Hitler, and almost 50 years of oppressive rule of a ruler with so-called 'prophethood.'

You get it! Hitler was an antichrist - and Stalin too. It helps to read up on them to get an idea of what the final antichrist is like.

Why should we dismiss them as altogether irrelevant as the antichrist that every believer is expecting, come and gone, "what, was this the man... (Is 14:16). Was Hitler not 'sensational' enough to be that man of perdition?

Are you going to fall away from the faith if it DOES? Not likely. Emotions cannot dictate doctrine.

That's the problem - Hitler wasn't the final antichrist. The final antichrist is said to be worse....

Jesus did say the great tribulation will be the worst time, never to be equaled. I thought WWII was pretty bad, but if Jesus says will be the worst, then I have to believe it

See, how do we know we aren't already being 'kept' within the tribulation. No one can 'see' it going on all around us, because we are being kept 'in comfort.'

That's just it, how can anyone dismiss that World War II and the troubles that Jews encountered wasn't exactly what Jesus, the Word of God, was speaking of? His audience were predominantly Israelites, after all (Jer 30:7).

You're not advising that they should be worried, are you? Pre-Trib adherents do well in that sense, they are not worried for anything. They've reasoned that they will be kept from the time of tribulation, although the theory seems to equate it to God's wrath, or designating the tribulation to some others' significance. Although, this is not entirely dissimilar to the idea I'm suggestion, it seems my idea is rejected as impossible unless it involves a physical and entire removal from the world stage altogether. I still don't get why it's impossible that we're watching revelation unfold right before our eyes in real time.
