I'm reaching out to you all obo my 23 year old son (per his request).
My son, a former HS champion & D1 wrestler, has found himself struggling thru another difficult transitional period in his life.
Following his 5th year of college, as he watched his college friends graduate and begin to land promising new jobs and careers - he had a couple few hanging chads (remaining classes - that he needed to complete over the summer) iot graduate...
We had been planning a huge family reunion over the past 10 months in a Mt resort of NC that he was looking forward to - as he is very proud of his family heritage and all the love that he receives from his loved ones.
Unfortunately, he never made it to the reunion... and ended up in the emergency room as a result of a series of unfortunate events and bad decisions...
A few weeks ago, he asked if he could borrow some of my camping equipment bc he wanted to go with an old wrestling buddy to the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Tenneessee... I warned him of the type of satanic activities that are going on at these types of festivals these days... But he waved it off, acknowledged, but assured me that he just needed to have his last summer hiatus before he begins to transition into his next phase of life as a full time working adult...
We have deduced that he has probably been been using a popular drug (college campuses) called Ketamine that when over used can trigger psychosis... Needless to say, something triggered him at this festival and his behavior became a heightened escalation of his already gregarious ESTP personality... His college friends (from childhood) were reaching out to my sons siblings concerned that he was not himself and they were concerned that he 'was out of touch with reality'...
He described an encounter with a woman - that I can only describe as a witch - who had given him an 'evil eye' bracelet... Coupled with the Ketamine - he believes that he was able to see people who were possessed by demons (my interpretation)...
He immediately ripped off the bracelet and found Jesus... He has been reading the Bible out loud and singing ever since with a heightened enthusiasm and positive energy - beyond his normal dynamic and charismatic personality...
He became very paranoid - as a result...
All of a sudden he became a viral influencer on Instagram growing an even larger fan base - as he was now essentially preaching the reality of his new appreciation for the Spiritual War between Good and Evil in our world today...
He was staying up all hours of the night - going live - and interviewing people with a new found positive enthusiasm for Jesus - but he was all over the map with his daily 'LIVE' streams and sleepless nights...
He was reading the Bible and singing in the early hours of the night at a resort in Tennessee.... Early that morning the management called their private security to ask him to leave as they believed that he was disturbing the peace... Needless to say with his current state of paranoia he attempted to flee - as he believes that he was afraid for his life that these security guys intended to do him harm...
He claims that their badge numbers were 666 & 999... He was willing to walk away, but got nervous when they persisted to escort him off the property - as he was a paying customer at the resort and his stuff was still at the hotel...
He was live during his encounter with this security team - filming his positive energy in the process..
He says that the tazed him and beat him...
Needless to say - he was cited for disturbing the peace, disobeying their orders and resisting their apprehension...
We assume that they took him to the Police department who transferred him to the ER where he was diagnosed with Manic Psychosis...
The hospital sent him to a Behavioral (Mental) Medical Facility for a mandatory (minimum) 5 day evaluation...
He has been very upbeat, maintaining his positive energy and continues reading from the Bible and Singing - albiet with rest and sleep he has largely come back to his normal self and reality, but remains paranoid...
The Dr's see his experience as drug induced hallucinations as their medical books do not account for the nature of the his spiritual encounter with evil...
Please Pray for my son as we are confident that he is now a warrior of God and will persevere along his new spiritual journey...
He asked me to ask my friends here for legal advise or possibly even referrals for a good lawyer in the Knoxville TN area.
