Hi all! I would like prayer that I will get approval from the government for funding for my education soon so that I will be able to go back to school for the January semester of 2026 for 2 years, as I am getting older so I want to get back to school as early as possible. I had mental health issues that held me back and I didn't choose the right program in the past or one that has a good career prospect, but now I know what I want to study, considering everything.

Also, I am concerned that the people there will be a lot younger than me as they're coming from high school, and maybe there will be a few who are a bit older than that, but I would like prayer that there will be other older students like me who are within my age range, not being too much younger than me, or older, so that I am not just socializing with people who I cannot be friends with in the end, due to the feeling that I am like their aunt or mom! Thank you so tremendously for this prayer as well!

I will pray that all goes well in the funding of your education, and that you will excel in your studies and effectively apply what you learn in how that you live your life.

We will pray for your success in finding funding for your continuing education.

I would like to make a suggestion. Find a company that has openings in the field that you plan to enter. Apply for an paid apprenticeship in one of the openings. Many companies also pay for your education in the field.

My son landed an apprenticeship at an architecture firm. They paid him half time pay and for the remainder of his education.

I already found the funding place and I did all the work for the application, so I just need to speak to the coach who's going to help me and for the government to eventually approve the funding for me, but I still don't know when the coach will call me. Also, good news, the education will only be about 1 and a half years and will be in-person at a school I have a good impression of!

Another way that I have found successful is to apply for every scholarship that you can find. Start at your school's financial aid office. My daughter got most of her tuition and fees from a local foundation that supported healthcare students. They required her to maintain a 3.0 GPA.

One thing that I recommend that you not do is borrow money for college.

We are praying that a door will open with full funding of your education.

The one that I found that helps with funding, is not one I would have to pay back and it funds the full cost of your education plus associated stuff like books and travel expense since I am still on disability support from my long-term mental health issues.

Hi, Currently I need to obtain an acceptance letter from my school, but I am having a lot of trouble. They say I need to apply and pay application fee but I am currently asking if I can just get an acceptance letter and pay the application fee after I am sure I get granted the funding.

Also, I need to know the start and end dates, including the placement days of two other schools to research and the tuition cost and they have not replied to me yet for 2 days and usually they are quick but I need to write that info down on my application form for the funding and time is tight on me getting to go back to school for January, 2026. :(

Oh sorry, my mistake. I got another e-mail today which was unusual as I usually only get 1 e-mail from them per day. The person she got me to e-mail said that I can get a voucher that will waive my application fee for people who have financial difficulties and that I will receive the voucher code I am to input when I do the application form. It will take up to 4 business days for the representative to send me a voucher code.

Still waiting for the other 2 schools to give me a few details as well. Thanks so much for the prayers!

One of the schools contacted me the next day explaining to me they were away. So I have the info for that.

The other school hasn't gotten back to me yet this whole week to tell me the start and end date info, including placement days.

Also, I still have to wait to hopefully get the voucher code on Monday (4 business days) to enter in my application online so I can waive the fee.
