Hey folks, I would appreciate some prayers about the workstation that I use for my remote job.
Thing’s about 6 months old, but I may need a part to be replaced, which would require me to send the machine out. Thing weighs a ton, and I’d be without the box, I estimate, at least a week.
Now, I do have a back-up, but it’s a much older machine. I have my most recent files on the newer box, and would need to transfer everything over, update company passwords (as they change regularly), etc. It would be a hassle.
An alternative would be to do the job myself when they send me the part. But, I would need someone (via YouTube or the manufacturer) to step me through it. They may or may not be willing to do this. I expect to discuss options with them (Velocity Micro) Tuesday (i.e., Singleness Awareness Day).
I guess for this I am just asking that God provides wisdom and direction on the best course of action to pursue, and to please please please keep the headaches and disruptions to a minimum.
Secondly, my car is scheduled for a thermostat replacement this Friday morning. Please, if you would, pray that they find nothing else wrong with the car and that the op goes smoothly. (Geez… sounds like I’m talking about a coronary procedure.)
