Does Christian chat forums have a policy on posting links to YouTube videos? Several other forums do and this is why I am wondering. Also, is there any policy on placing a link to another thread in a post if it is relevant to the post in question?
 
We permit posting of YouTube videos as long as they would otherwise meet the standards of a Christian site.

We do prohibit using this platform to advertise/promote a YouTube channel. In other words, spam posting videos from a channel will get you booted.

Hello Sotera :) When message box is activated by clicking in it or quoting another person's post, a row of icons will show above it which includes many options, one of which is inserting media. It has three dots and a downward pointing arrow, and when you hover your cursor over it, you will see Insert in a little box appear. Click the icon, and a drop-down appears with options; the first one is Media. That is the one to select for sharing youtube videos. Click Media. A small app opens allowing you to enter the url of the video you wish to share. After entering the video url in the line provided, make sure to click enter, either in the app itself or on your keyboard. The video will then appear in your post :D

There is no problem including links to other threads, either. You can even copy a post from one thread into another thread and that will automatically include a link to the original thread as long as none of the coding is erased.
