I don't think it's healthy to date just because you're lonely.
So true. If you can't be happy on your own, then bringing someone else into the picture is probably not a good idea. Not trying to sound harsh, but I think there's a lot of truth to it if you think about it.

Yeah. I like to think that we're supposed to be in a relationship when we're ready to love not because we're needing to be loved.

im desperately lonely

Deal with this first, then worry about finding a wife. Trying to fill a void with another person will tend to cause us to make really bad decisions that leave us in a worse emotional position than when we started off.

Good advice.
If you feel desperately lonely, you may not make a very good decision picking out a wife.

I recommend getting a girlfriend while looking for a wife.
That way you won't feel lonely, and maybe your girlfriend can help you shop around for someone to replace her.

I think most girls are very understanding about things like that.

I think "take a strong laxative and a sleeping pill on the same night" would classify as "worst advice ever".

Your logic is sound.

I prefer Diet Pepsi and Diet Coke.. lol and coffee.. but that’s just me. :)
Whenever I try diet soda, I don't like it. It just has this bad taste to me. And I've tried coffee before and thought it tasted terrible. But...we all have our own things that we like and dislike. That's part of what makes the world more interesting. :)

And now this could move on to the flirting i mean dating section thread...
