I've heard the oil signifies the Holy Spirit.. but why would the Holy Spirit not indwell a born again believer?

Scripture is it's own Interpreter:
See to it, brothers, that none of you has a wicked heart of unbelief that turns away from the living God.
But exhort one another daily, as long as it is called today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.
We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly to the end the assurance we had at first.
As it has been said:
“Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts, as you did in the rebellion.”
For who were the ones who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt?
And with whom was God angry for forty years?
Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
And to whom did He swear that they would never enter His rest?
Was it not to those who disobeyed?
So we see that it was because of their unbelief that they were unable to enter.
Scripture does not lie - but men do
At some point you will have to accept reality. It may not be until you are dead and are able to see the earth as it is.
By then it won't matter either way.
The shape of the earth had ZERO bearing on salvation.
Dear Genipher, we have to be very careful and quick to assume nothing so that we leave the door open for truth - God's Word.
Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?
Tell Me, if you have understanding.

Here is a simple SCIENCE question:
If the earth were a globe spinning through space, how is it that the exact Stars in their exact constellations and alignments continue
EXACTLY as they have for thousands of years, without fail when we look up, study them and use them for Navigation and other events as a Precise Certified Map, Clock and Calendar???
It's not about shape. The heliocentric model was invented by an enemy of God to confuse people. It basically opens up the possibility that there are endless worlds and galaxies, etc.,.. it is exactly like the theory of evolution. Both from the pit of hell in an attempt to suggest God is not only not necessary, He is irrelevant. If you can't see this.. well....
Why couldn't Yahweh have made other worlds or galaxies for His pleasure? How does Him creating other planets make Him "unnecessary"? To me, that just makes Him sound more awesome. If he could speak this world into existence with mere words, why would we assume He couldn't create more? Why would you limit His power by saying galaxies couldn't exist?

It's not that He couldn't, it's that He didn't.
A flat, immovable earth covered by a firmament is MUCH MORE AWESOME.. which is why SO MANY people reject it, including you. Can you imagine? No, you can't.

You can't know that He didn't create galaxies and other worlds.
There is much we don't know or understand that He did and does.
I mean, we don't even know everything Jesus did and we were told in John 21:25, "And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen."
So if we can't/don't know everything Jesus did (and are told He did far more than was told to us!), it could very well be possible Yahweh did things --made things -- that He never specifically mentioned in scripture. And that doesn't make Him less esteemed, it makes him MORE.
I also disagree that a flat, immovable thing is more awesome. Figuring out how to spin a round object juuust fast enough to not kill the inhabitants AND make it circle the sun with perfect timing is far more impressive.
What matters is Billions of taxpayer money every year that goes to a Big Lie.
What matters is that what comes out of NASA is part of the world wide deception that God's Word tells us not to take the bait.
What matters is that the same Globalists who are part of NASA are also part of 911.
They also killed Kenedy after he told the world of their Plan. Not in detail because they killed him.
I know what Scripture says. Scripture teaches a flat, immovable earth covered by a firmament. Scripture NEVER mentions galaxies and other worlds. That is what the world tells you, not the Lord.
I am not going to "imagine" things that the Lord has not revealed, especially when what He tells us is in complete contrast to what the world says. You can believe anything you want, but please don't attribute it to God.

Exactly, like how do all the spokes on a wheel stay the same distance from each other even though the wheel is spinning?
